In writing this review, I would like to address an issue that is mentioned in many reviews giving the Perfecto Pure Badger Shaving Brush 1 stars. Since I have only had my brush for a week now, and am shaving daily, I will be sure to let you know if anything changes, but so far it is performing perfectly and I am impressed/relieved by the quality of the brush. A lot of people complained that the bristles were falling out everywhere. While this may be true for a few who received a defective product, the one I received was a 100% Genuine Perfecto product, and the bristles are quite durable. My Product was delivered in an official Perfecto box, which had been closed and sealed. Upon my first glance my first impression was that this brush was simple and easy to use, even though I think the handle might be a little small in my opinion, but not small enough to make Nothing could be further from the truth. However, I've found that even with my large hands, the smaller handle comes in handy! Within minutes of unboxing, I had my Taylor of Old Bond Street brush in my hands, and I was quick to produce shaving cream by the bowlful with it! The cream whips into a perfect lather in just seconds without losing a single bristle along the way, but the process is really so quick and easy that it was almost a blur. Even though the bristles are so soft, once you unbox them, they will maybe feel stiff. I pre-boiled it a little in hot water and it got as soft as ever, I was ready to go! Trying to test out the main complaint that's been raised from the worst reviews, I got the bristles wet. There is still no response! Even though I intend to purchase another brush with more features and keep this one in my NASA locker, I expect this thing to last me for a long time. My previous brush had been from another brand for many years. SO I bought this one to replace it. Until now, I've forgotten how nice and efficient a new brush is. It has only been a week since I've used it but I have yet to experience any The new brush works much better than the old one, and I find it works well with shave soap too. It makes fewer nicks than before (actually none) when I apply creme directly to the tip of the brush and work it into my beard at the same time. I do not use a cup, but place the creme directly onto the tip of the brush.
I chose this purely because of the high reviews online. In the arrival box, my husband laughed and showed me the exact same brand and model that he had bought the week before.
