You're looking for a creamy experience, aren't you? This is the brush you'll need
5/5

This is my fourth or fifth shaving brush since I began shaving with soap and brush, and this brush, hands down, produces the best cream and provides the best shaving experience of any brush I've ever used. Because of its longer, slightly stiffer bristles, this brush produces a creamier, longer-lasting shaving cream than other brushes, and it does so much faster. With 15 seconds of whisking with this brush, I can make a thick, hearty shaving cream. I could only get to this level of shaving cream glory with over a minute of wrist-snapping whisking with other brushes. br>br>A note about odor: The smell was quite strong after the first shave. While I knew it was animal musk, it smelled like machine oil to me. However, it was only strong on my first shave; my second shave had a *tiny* scent, but after that there was nothing but glorious sandalwood from my shaving soap to smell at all. In addition, this brush brings out more of the shaving soap scent than any of the other brushes I've tried so far. br>br>Overall, I strongly advise you to purchase this brush. I've been using it twice a week for about a month and haven't had any bristles fall out, and it's greatly improved my shaving experience.

Bristles with a good grip
5/5

Over the course of four months, no bristles have been lost. It was an excellent shaving experience. All of the soap The same question is posed by brush men: Is it better to use a beaver brush or a boar bristle brush? Since I was a teenager, I've always used beaver brushes. They all seemed to degrade quickly, eventually losing their bristles and becoming limp washcloths. I was in the market for a new brush, so I went with boar bristle. Working the lather into my pores is extremely relaxing. My face tingles as a result of the bristle. I just dipped the soap in water and poured it out. Then I dip the tips of the bristles in really hot water for about an eighth of an inch, pick up some soap on the tips, and work it upward and around into my beard. A couple of do's and don'ts if you're new to the shaving brush Do not use hot water to clean the brush. You might be able to loosen the cement holding the bristles in place. Only the tips of the fingers are ever exposed to hot water. Rinse the bristles thoroughly in cold water after shaving. Shake off any excess water, then wrap a towel around the bristles and squeeze for a few seconds without pulling. Allow the bristles of the brush to drip dry by hanging them down. Fluff up the brush by running it over your hand before using it, and have fun!.

Ingrown hair sufferers will appreciate this brush
5/5

This brush has a lot of backbone and is very fine. Those who are considering purchasing this brush should keep in mind that it will require some break-in time. Allow the brush to soften and become supple by soaking it in hot water for 10 minutes before each shave. It has a "funky" odor to it, which requires thorough cleaning. I use a few drops of dawn after soaking the brush in hot water. Then I made a lather in my hand and rinsed it until there was no more soap. Then, using a towel, rub the brush against the towel with moderate pressure to remove any remaining moisture. After that, I re-wet the brush and proceed to a shaving puck. I fill the brush to the brim with as much soap as it can hold and lather it in my bowl. Then fill the brush with the lather. Then, with the lather in the brush, leave it overnight. The next morning, wash out the soap by rinsing it and lathering it inside. Allow to dry overnight and the odor will be gone. After about 7 shaves, this brush will begin to fan out and develop split ends. That's exactly what you've been looking for! It loses its rough texture as it softens. Omega is a high-end manufacturer. Get one if you're willing to put in the effort to break it in. It's a pleasure to shave with this product.

This one has a strong odor to it
5/5

I purchased the Omega 10049 in black. br>Because this is my first boar hair brush, I had no idea what to expect, but I decided to get it because of the positive reviews. br>br>In the past, I've used synthetic and badger brushes. br>This one is a full inch longer and nearly twice the size of any of my other brushes. Although I expected it to be longer, the handle is much larger than I anticipated. However, I prefer to use it in a bowl or directly on my face because it is more comfortable. br>br>The brush is soft and, according to other reviewers, is supposed to get softer over time, but it has a good backbone and lathers well. br>I've used it with a variety of soaps and creams, and it's fantastic. br>br>And now for the odor. br>I'm not sure about others, but the smell was overwhelming after rinsing mine in warm water, which was not what I expected. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it has a foul odor. br>So I soaked it in hot water mixed with a decent amount of dish soap for about 15 minutes, washed it really well in warm water, lathered it with my Proraso shaving soap twice as much as I would when shaving, and let it dry over night, as per a video I found on YouTube. br>I can still smell some of that special smell after rinsing it in the morning and using it for the past week, but only if I hold it up to my nose, which I rarely do. The scent of my shaving soap has now taken over. br>The brush now appears to be softer and lathers a little better. After 15 shaves, it should be fully broken in, so this is just the beginning. br>br>I can honestly say that I prefer this brush to my other brushes. It's more comfortable to use and produces the same amount of lather. br>br>The Omega brush is shown next to a TJ synthetic brush in the photo. br>br>2/7/2017 Update:
So I have been using the Omega for over a month now and I am pleased to inform you that the animal scent has been 100% eliminated about 2 weeks after br>I'm using a fragrance-free shaving cream with a faint olive oil scent, and the brush has taken on that scent as well. If you use a stronger-scented soap, I'm sure your brush will soon smell the same. br>Boar hair is similar to human hair in terms of quality. It would have the same scent as the last soap you used and absorb water similarly to human hair. I use a towel to finish drying it. I'm hoping it isn't a human. What a fantastic brush. br>br>.
