This is a thick, gummy substance. When it's on your teeth, it doesn't tingle in the least. I tried it twice and noticed no difference in the color of my teeth. I've been substituting another brand that I purchased at the same time as this one. That manufacturer (VieBeauti Teeth Whitening Kit - VieBeauti Teeth Whitening Kit - VieBeauti Teeth Whitening 5X LED Light, 35% Carbamide) really tingles and can be quite uncomfortable because it is so strong, even though technically it is not as strong as this product claims to be. It did an excellent job of whitening my teeth. I'm irritated at myself for not returning it when I had the opportunity. It's past the point of no return at this point.
I've tried other brands, and this one isn't as thick as the others. But, given the lower price, it's a good deal. As you wear it, the thinner material emerges from the mold.
I've had excellent results using the whitening strips and opalescence gel. I thought I'd try something a little less expensive, but there's no difference in my opinion. These are extremely strong with 44% carbonate and my ortho only carries 22%, and they suggest using a pin drop. SO BE AWARE! It's also a lot less expensive than my ortho. They charge $126 for ten very small vials, but this is for ten large vials with twice the bleaching. I didn't read the instructions and put a small amount in for 20 minutes the first time. It stated 15-minutes. 20 but it wasn't a problem after that. I filled the tray the next night and worked for another 20 minutes. UH- It burned the entire time, but I kept it on, and when I removed it, I had white blisters all over my gums; I haven't used it in four nights, but I'll try again tonight. It's been 15 minutes, and a tiny pin has dropped. I could see the dingy yellow turning to white after the second use, and it works great if you read and follow the instructions. Keep the rest in the fridge and it should last you an entire use until you have BRIGHT WHITE teeth, as well as maintenance for a long time. Love them, but be cautious, use sparingly, and follow the directions once more.
While I do not see immediate results as a user, determining the effectiveness is difficult. I think it's working because the yellowing has faded over the weeks I've been using it. It will take a long time to remove the yellowing that has developed over a 20-year period in my case. I started right after my twice-yearly dental cleaning, as recommended by dentists.
These are fantastic. My teeth turned WHITE as a result of the bleaching process. I've just placed another order for some. Wow. I even kept a journal of my progress. After about 17 minutes, the above is what happened. 20 days. I also kept it in for at least 30 minutes (but that is a personal preference).
This product is 44% Carbamide Peroxide rather than 2015% and doesn't come in 30ml. This is a bad investment.
This is the most effective way to whiten your teeth. It's exactly like the kind we sell at our dentist office, except this is a refill syringe and it is 44%, so you have to not put a lot in your tray and Your teeth will be so white if you use a small amount at a time for 15 minutes each day with sensitive toothpaste.
