Questions & Answers
Hey, that's an excellent query! Because of the possibility of steam and heat during shower use, we do not recommend using the hum in the shower. Due to the fact that the smart toothbrush is only water resistant, excessive amounts of water may cause the hum brush to become ineffective.
Hey! Powerful sonic vibrations are available in two modes on our battery-operated hum Toothbrush: The Rechargeable has three modes: Normal, Sensitive, and Normal/Sensitive. Normal, Sensitive, or Deep Clean are the three options for cleaning.
We have not sought the ADA seal because hum is made to the highest quality and efficacy standards. We may seek it in the future because it is a voluntary endorsement that requires a lengthy approval process. Despite the lack of approval, hum has undergone extensive testing to ensure that it is both safe and effective, as well as meeting the Colgate standard.
The Magik app does not work with our hum adult brush.

This turned out to be a bit of a letdown - The toothbrush head felt extremely abrasive, especially near my gumline. However, if not cleaned, it can be abrasive. I actually brushed with one of those plague-red tablets to see how well it cleaned, and it did a terrible job - There's still a lot of red left. I like how it keeps track of where you've brushed and where you've missed and shows you where you went wrong. I learned a lot about my patterns in the two weeks I used it, and then I switched back to my old toothbrush (which cleaned so much better after the red tablet test!). ) with a new brushing pattern, hopefully!.
Despite the fact that my dentist's office has been closed due to the pandemic, my teeth are sparkling! I used to use a sonicare, so when I saw the price, I wasn't sure it would work, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a lot less expensive than other brands, but it does the same thing.
As a result, the battery in my toothbrush died after only two weeks. So I got new batteries, and four times in the middle of the night, I was awakened by the toothbrush walking on my sink, as it had turned on by itself in the middle of the night. I had to take the batteries out in the end.
The brush head is not soft and is a little small, and the app does not track well. This is a tooth brush that I would not purchase again. The Amazon Prime price was still excessively high in comparison to the overall value. For the money, there are far too many better brushes.
This, I believe, is the best parenting purchase I've ever made. My son now enjoys brushing his teeth while watching TV on his phone; he enjoys earning points toward a new color (as if they were collectibles, LOL); and being able to track all of his brushing and how well he is doing on his own really helps me know how to continue instructing him on dental care, such as how to get to the very back of our teeth, and so on.
I really like the app because I'm concerned about missing areas of my mouth. The toothbrush head size is also excellent; I prefer the smaller versions. My only complaint is that the bristles aren't soft enough, and there isn't a softening option available.
This was purchased for my adolescent son, who struggles with fine motor skills. It took him a long time to figure out how to use buttons and tie his shoes, and he struggles with handwriting. He wasn't brushing his teeth properly as a result of this problem, regardless of how much instruction he received. He was able to learn how to brush his teeth properly with the help of this toothbrush and the accompanying app. It gives step-by-step instructions for brushing, including things like "tilt your brush 45 degrees," and visually displays progress. "I'd never felt his teeth this clean before," he said. " Anyone who has trouble brushing thoroughly or enjoys keeping track of their progress will benefit from the gamification of brushing. It comes with two AAA batteries, but we'll replace them with rechargeables once the original set runs out. br>I am thrilled that this product exists, especially at this price. Only the amount of packaging is a disadvantage. The toothbrush comes in an oval tube that is well-protected from the elements. safe and secure I'm not sure why there are so many boxes (as shown in the picture).
This is my new daily toothbrush, and it's light and thin enough to take with me when I travel. You won't need to bring a charger because it's battery-powered. Overall, this is a great toothbrush at a great price, with a 30 second timer for people who want to brush for 30 seconds on each section of their mouth (for a total brushing time of two minutes). This toothbrush also has a Bluetooth connection to an app that claims to show you how well you've been brushing your teeth. It is ineffective unless you brush your teeth in the prescribed manner (30 seconds for each quarter of your mouth, divided into front, top, and back, without moving on until the quarter is completed). It also keeps track of how often you brush, rewarding you with points that can be redeemed for discounts on replacement brush heads. I haven't yet reached that point because I've only had it for a few weeks.
