It was a fake merchandise that was sold to me recently. Because the toothbrush did not fit properly on the brush and moved in a strange way, I called Braun for assistance. In the middle of brushing, the brush head came off the brush. It scratched when I scratched the Oralb Logo with my nail after being instructed to do so by Braun customer service. It is impossible for the authentic brushes to scratch their logo. I haven't been able to scratch the Braun logo on the real toothbrush because the toothbrush is fully enclosed in a glossy material that prevents scratches. The generic brand is usually my preference because of quantity and quality, but since Amazon no longer had my preferred brand in stock, I paid more for the name brand and thought the quality would be better. Anyhow, I just changed the brush head and found that this new brush head doesn't fit as tightly as the original brush head or generic brand that I usually purchase.
