I didn't even brush my teeth this morning to see how long the sensation would last, and it's almost noon and I'm still awake. slick and tidy! br>br>I read the manual (don't roll your eyes - it's true - it's true - it's true - it's true - it's true - it's I was trying to figure out how the pressure sensor functioned! It also mentioned that this toothbrush has an EasyStart mode that gradually increases the brush's performance over the first 14 uses to help you get used to brushing. So I'm thinking to myself, "I'm a 30-year-old woman. " How different can this be from someone who has been brushing since I was able to stand up? "br>br>I positioned the brush against my back teeth as directed by the manual, then turned it on - WOW. I've never had a full-fledged meal like this before. This is the first time I've had a head sensation like this! It tickled and buzzed so loudly that I couldn't stop laughing for the entire two-minute brush timer. I missed three of the four "move to a new quadrant" beeps because the tingling changed every time I rearranged the brush, sending me into fits of laughter all over again. It wasn't just giggling, you guys. I ruined my eye makeup and splattered toothpaste all over the sink. My sluggish little dog even came in to see how I was doing. In two minutes, I had completed a full ab workout. br>br>I can see why they're trying to get you used to it - This has been a fascinating journey. Tonight, I'm actually looking forward to brushing my teeth for the first time in a long time.

Each and every one of the five stars is completely justified. I've only used this product once, but I'm ready to give it a perfect score. I've been using a $10 oral rehydration solution for a while now. For the past few years, I've been using a B electric toothbrush from Walmart and have decided to upgrade. The difference between this sonicare toothbrush and others is astounding. I disabled the easy start to get the full effect, and I'm blown away. Because it is so powerful, it will vibrate your whole face. The 2 minute timer is too short for me, so I just repeat the cycle twice; it's not worth deducting a star because this is a personal preference that causes no inconvenience to use for more than one cycle. With a $40 price tag and a 2 star rating, this is a great deal With a 5-year warranty, I'm confident that I'll be satisfied in the long run. If it perishes in the first two days, it is considered a failure. I'll feel like it was worth the money in 6 years (just after the warranty expires). Even better if it manages to stay alive. This is a great product to choose because it has a lithium battery and the same power as a diamond toothbrush without the extra features.

I've been using Sonicare brushes for ten years, and this one is the best for the money; you can spend four times as much and get all the bells and whistles, but if you just want to clean your teeth, this brush will suffice. It has a brisk action (which can be adjusted for beginners), a two-minute timer with a quad pacer that beeps every 30 seconds, a "smart brush" detection system that alerts you when the brush head needs to be replaced, and an alert when you're pressing too hard with the brush head. This brush will clean your teeth if you don't require whitening mode, Bluetooth, or a slew of other high-tech features. br>br>NOTE: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the place to be Phillips brush heads are recommended when replacing the brush heads (this unit only comes with one). Do not buy the low-cost versions. Always buy the Phillips brand because they are of poor quality, wear out quickly, and can harm your teeth and/or gums.

Updated on August 23, 2018 - I contacted Sonicare customer service again, and they agreed to exchange the unit for a new one at no additional charge to me, including shipping. I've had it for a week and it appears to work as it should, in the manner we've come to expect. I appreciate Phillips' commitment to their product, and I've increased my rating from one to four stars. br>br>Initial Assessment: This unit was a letdown for us. My wife and I have been Sonicare users for nearly two decades, purchasing mid-priced models on a regular basis. models of a higher rank Because we did not use the variable speeds or other amenities provided on the higher-cost units, we decided to replace it with this less expensive model when our most recent unit began to fail holding charges and became noisier in use. We found that this model's full power/intensity description was supposed to be equivalent to others after carefully comparing it to others. br>br>From the start, this unit was noisier in operation than the others we'd owned, and its power/intensity was noticeably lower. Because we're used to full power, I assumed I'd skipped over the new user break-in period during setup. It begins with a low intensity and gradually increases over the course of a week or so in cycling. br>br>I contacted Sonicare customer service, who was friendly and helpful. We went over their troubleshooting checklist with them, which included skipping the new user ramp-up to full intensity. As I previously stated, I thought I had set it up for maximum intensity, but I had to admit to the CSR that when we reset the bypass and I tried it in my mouth for 10-minutes, the intensity seemed to improve/increase. He was on the phone for 15 seconds. By the end of the next day, the power/intensity had returned to 30-. We're used to 40 lower than with other Sonicares. I keep it on the charger when not in use because it uses Lithium batteries, as do most models these days. I also tried resetting the intensity adjustment several times over the course of a few weeks, and it appears that the strength increases slightly for about half a day. It never came close to matching our previous units. In general, the intensity strength of this unit is so low that trying to clean the anterior surface of your side teeth/molars causes the bristle vibration to almost stop. br>br>Perhaps ours is a one-off. Given the one-year warranty, I'll be contacting their customer service again soon to see if we can exchange this one for a similar model.
