"br>br>I positioned the brush against my back teeth as directed by the manual, then turned it on - WOW. I've never had a full-fledged meal like this before. This is the first time I've had a head sensation like this! It tickled and buzzed so loudly that I couldn't stop laughing for the entire two-minute brush timer. I missed three of the four "move to a new quadrant" beeps because the tingling changed every time I rearranged the brush, sending me into fits of laughter all over again. It wasn't just giggling, you guys. I ruined my eye makeup and splattered toothpaste all over the sink. My sluggish little dog even came in to see how I was doing. In two minutes, I had completed a full ab workout. br>br>I can see why they're trying to get you used to it - This has been a fascinating journey. Tonight, I'm actually looking forward to brushing my teeth for the first time in a long time.

I've been using Sonicare brushes for ten years, and this one is the best for the money; you can spend four times as much and get all the bells and whistles, but if you just want to clean your teeth, this brush will suffice. It has a brisk action (which can be adjusted for beginners), a two-minute timer with a quad pacer that beeps every 30 seconds, a "smart brush" detection system that alerts you when the brush head needs to be replaced, and an alert when you're pressing too hard with the brush head. This brush will clean your teeth if you don't require whitening mode, Bluetooth, or a slew of other high-tech features. br>br>NOTE: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the place to be Phillips brush heads are recommended when replacing the brush heads (this unit only comes with one). Do not buy the low-cost versions. Always buy the Phillips brand because they are of poor quality, wear out quickly, and can harm your teeth and/or gums.

My dental cleanings went from "you need to do better" to "you're doing a fantastic job. " I've always been a big fan of Sonicare toothbrushes. My previous Sonicare was an Elite model with all of the features, and it died due to a loose brush head shaft that wouldn't stay tightened even after repair, which is also what killed the one before it, so the verdict is still out on how well this one will hold up in that regard. They usually last a couple of years before giving out. Except for basic clean with full power, I found that I rarely used any of the Elite's settings. In the past, if you wanted a simple one-button Sonicare, you had to forego the slim handle design and lithium ion battery, two features I never wanted to give up, so I would always opt for the more expensive model. Enter the Protectiveclean 4100 Sonicare, a basic one-button, one-speed no-frills machine with all the features I want and nothing I don't, as well as the same slim handle and battery as the higher end models in this line, and it even borrows some of the features from the top of the Sonicare line, such as a brush head pressure sensor to remind you of proper brushing technique and a smart head brush replacement reminder that I hope doesn't tell me to replace it before If you have a Sonicare, you'll notice that the area around the metal brush head shaft (between the motor handle and the brush head) has been flattened out, and the small plastic cap that used to sit on the bottom of the shaft has been removed, making the area easier to clean. This toothbrush's sonic action appears more refined than my old Elite model, but that could be due to wear and tear on the old one; in any case, this brush performs admirably and I'm pleased.

It's a nice electric toothbrush with a couple of annoyances. The first thing to note is that it is quite intense. I replaced my Oral B electric toothbrush with a Philips Sonicare Sonicare Sonicare Sonicare Sonicare Sonicare Sonicare The bristles on the Oral B had a pleasant vibration. The Phillips Sonicare has a lot of power. There is no way to lessen the intensity. This brush will irritate your teeth if you have sensitive teeth. If you've been using Oral B, stick with it. br>Another annoyance is that it turns off after two minutes. There are no hidden menu sequences that will allow you to disable it. At least three features are deactivable, but the auto shut off is not one of them. After a few repetitions, it becomes irritating. br>It's a nice electric toothbrush, but I'd go with something else if I needed one.

Hello, I shop on Amazon for the majority of my purchases because their delivery and prices are unbeatable! However, I am extremely dissatisfied with this toothbrush! I'm not sure if I got a bad one, but the shaft to which the brush heads are attached has started to come loose. My children and I are no longer able to use the tooth brush that I gave them for Christmas and only lasted three months. Unfortunately, the return window has closed, and we now have a broken tooth brush and brand new heads that have yet to be used.

I could tell the product I got had been used. The box had been opened and resealed with scotch tape, the bristles on the head were worn from use, and the case that covered the head was filthy due to water/toothpaste that had been left on the bristles. I requested a refund right away and will buy a new toothbrush somewhere else. I'd give this review a 0 out of 5 stars if I could. That was a total turnoff.
