Because my wife uses the same brushes and handle, it'll be nearly impossible. br>br>I ended up using a white out to mark my black handle so that we didn't mix up our brushes, which was a pain.

When I opened the package, I discovered a warning on the inside: the brush head should not be used with toothpaste containing coconut oil. It would have been nice if that warning had been visible on the outside of the package so I could have returned them, but instead I'm stuck with the most expensive brush heads I've ever bought, and I'll have to go out and buy new toothpaste before I can use them. It's difficult enough in life. Nobody should have to be concerned about toothbrush and toothpaste compatibility.
This brush head was one of my favorites - For sensitive gums, I tried two Phillips Sonic versions, one of which was an older model. This new version was a little stiffer than the previous one, but it was still gentle on my gums, and I liked it just as much as or even more than the previous one. However, once you've used the first brush, it's time to move on to the next brush. For the first 6 weeks of using this set, the very top bristle clump fell out while I was brushing my teeth, and I almost choked on it. This is extremely dangerous and should not be swallowed by accident! br>br>At first, I thought it was a fluke - I tossed that one out as well. The old one has been replaced by a new one. Then, after only two weeks, the NEW brush head did the same thing! In the future, I will not purchase this updated version - It would be far too dangerous. br>br>I would strongly advise Phillips to double-check their quality standards and/or design to ensure the bristle clumps are SECURELY attached to the brush. so that you don't have to worry about swallowing or choking on a loose one!.
out . After a week, the front three brushes had fallen out. out. After about 5 days, I replaced it with the second brush, which worked just as well. This is the first time I've ever had an issue with Philips Sonicare brushes.
However, after using it, my teeth do not feel completely clean. My teeth and mouth don't feel as clean as they usually do after brushing with a Sonicare toothbrush. I was unaware that I had purchased a brush head with soft bristles when I purchased this new brush head. After a while, I began to suspect that my brushing habits were becoming sloppy. I had no idea what had happened to that fresh, clean feeling. br>br>After two weeks of using this new brush head, my teeth were no longer as clean as they had been. After so many years of using a sonic toothbrush, this is such a strange sensation. Finally, this morning I used one of the other brush heads I bought at the same time, but these have medium soft bristles rather than the soft type bristles. br>br>That is why I am devoting time to writing this review. My teeth feel clean again, as if they've been polished to a gleam. After only one use, this is the result. Furthermore, I'm willing to bet that if I went in for a checkup today, my gums would not be mentioned as positively as they usually are since I started using that soft bristle. The soft bristle in combination with the Soft gel-like substance appears to be a winning combination. The softness of the bristles, similar to that of a bed, makes it impossible to completely clean the teeth of plaque and other buildup that accumulates over time without regular brushing. br>br>I'm surprised to see a comment about this brush head and any comparison to a cleaning at the dentist's office or by an oral hygienist. br>br>I'm also surprised that there are six comments at this time, all of them five stars and raving about this brush head. That has never been my experience. br>br>I'm happy to recommend Sonicare toothbrushes and brush heads, but this brush head isn't one of them. br>br>PS Two stars for comfort, but zero stars for being overly soft. I understand that some people require extremely soft bristles, and this brush will most likely meet their needs. However, it is possible that this could be better labeled for the average person. It's probably a choice between removing and cleaning vs. massaging.
The bristles for this model are embedded in individual rubber cups that are then glued into holes in the brush head, rather than in the brush head itself. br>I contacted Philips directly, and they sent me a package of three of the same kind, which also fell apart; I contacted them again, and they said this had never happened before, but they agreed to send replacements once more. I requested standard heads, but there were only two when they arrived in the mail. br>I brush my teeth with an oil-based product. It's made up of oils like almond, spearmint, and peppermint. It's possible that it dissolves the glue that they're using. No idea.
Because my gums are receding, I'm using these with caution to avoid further damage. The ones with soft bristles are particularly appealing to me. Perhaps there's something I'm missing when it comes to the benefits of these for gums, but the very hard bristles don't appear to be gum friendly.
The same day I got them, I put the head in my brush. In a matter of seconds, it disintegrated in my mouth. My teeth were clogged with plastic and bristles. It was a nightmare.
I try not to brush too hard, and the Sonicare won't let me do that anyway. As a result, I know I wasn't mistreating these brush heads, but they both broke down after less than two weeks of use. The only thing that comes to mind is that I use an essential oil in my toothpaste to help clean my teeth, and that this may have softened the glue that holds the brushes in the brush head. I tried brushing right after putting my concoction on the brush and immediately rinsing it all off with vinegar on the second brush head after the first one fell apart, but I got no better results. I like my concoction so much that I'm switching to Diamond Clean instead of Gum Care. That is what I believe came with the brush, and when I used it with my tooth paste brew, it wore out at a normal rate without falling apart.
