a word of caution: It's got a zig-zag pattern on it. The brush head attachment is attached to a zig-zag post. This model includes the following features: The brush head is attached to a strangely shaped post on the Sonicare DailyClean 1100 HX3411/04. Consider the zigzag. (I'd attach a photo, but I'm not sure how to do that?) zigzag, not straight Brush heads from previous models, both generic and Sonicare, are not compatible with this design. I've been unable to locate replacement brush heads that are generic - I assume Philips created this new design in order to make their brand of brushes the only ones that will fit it, at least for the time being. A C1 Simply Clean brush head was included in the package. The manufacturer did not show a photo of that part of the handle before purchase, so the star rating is based on that. I'm not giving it a score because it hasn't been used yet. If the only brushes available are from a high-end brand, I won't be keeping them.
Years ago, I spent well over $100 on a toothbrush that was nearly identical to this one, and I loved it. I lost the charging base during one of our moves, which disappointed me greatly, but I had never replaced it. I jumped at the opportunity to order this Sonicare at this low price. I'm so glad I took the initiative! I still have a toothbrush handle from years ago that is nearly identical to this one. It has great features like a 30 second beeper that alerts you when it's time to move to a different area and a 2-minute auto shut-off. off, which are the things that are most important to me. It includes one soft-bristled toothbrush head and is the perfect size for me. I strongly advise you to purchase this toothbrush because it is an absolute bargain at this price! br>br>*****I'm updating my review nine months after my previous one! I noticed that some people were unhappy with the brush head size, density, and other aspects. I just wanted to share my thoughts because I don't want anyone to overlook this opportunity solely because of those factors. (I promise I'm not affiliated with Sonicare. ) I agree that the brush head that comes with it is very small and has soft bristles. This was fine for me because I have sensitive teeth, but I can see how a stiffer, larger brush would be preferred by others. The head's pole is at an odd angle compared to the Sonicare I had before, as it's angled somewhat forward, but I can honestly say that I've purchased both Sonicare and generic replacement heads for this and they've all fit perfectly, which also solved the brush size issue because the replacements were larger. I also wanted to provide an update on the battery life because I always leave it plugged in and didn't realize how long it lasted until recently. (And I didn't travel at all this year!) ) Because we were both so busy, I forgot to tell my husband that the outlet fuse where I keep my toothbrush had flipped. After using it for two minutes every morning and night for over three weeks, my toothbrush finally broke down this morning! I still think this was a great buy and would recommend it! **** November 11th, 2021.
Several people responded to my question about the size of this brush by stating that it was a full sized head before I purchased it. It isn't the case. I also inquired as to whether it was a soft or medium, and at least one person responded in the affirmative. It isn't the case. The head that comes with this model is about the size of a child's toothbrush. It's only 3/8" wide and 1" long, making it far too soft. Brushing your teeth could be done with a feather. br>br>I'll attach photos if I can, but most full-sized brushes and my old Sonic toothbrush (which I can't find) measure 1" long x 1/2" wide.
The dirty little secret about these SonicCare brushes is that all SonicCare products have similar motors. This model is an excellent value, with the more expensive ($25) models having only minor upgrades. I'm not interested in knowing how long the battery lasts or if there are any fancy light-up switches. I only need it to vibrate while brushing my teeth and last for about 14 uses before I have to recharge it. This product performs admirably and is ideal for my requirements, as well as being reasonably priced. Purchasing a ten-dollar bill The best option is to buy a pack of extra generic brushing heads. Standard toothbrushes do not last as long as these. I'm saving money overall, and I'm looking forward to brushing my teeth with a giant vibrating device in my mouth.
This toothbrush is absolutely fantastic! When I first started using it, I noticed that the brush head was quite small (at least in comparison to my previous toothbrush), and I was concerned about how well it would clean. However, it most certainly does! The vibrating power is excellent, and after using it, my mouth feels extremely clean. For the price, it's unquestionably worth it!br>br>Edit: This toothbrush has been in my possession for a few days, and I will be returning it. Despite the fact that it is plugged in, it continues to lose charge and only works partially. I've also realized that the HX3411/04 model I bought will be difficult to find a replacement head for because the metal shaft that emerges from the base is curved rather than straight. This appears to be a rare occurrence with other Sonicare brushes, making replacement heads difficult to come by in the future. Spend a little more to get something better.
It works just as well as the more expensive one it replaced in every way. There's no reason to pay more unless it dies in the next six months, which I doubt.
Every now and then, I'll purchase a secondhand item. For myself or my children, I'd like to develop a personal brand. My Sonicares are on their last legs after three years of service. 5 years. My off-the-grid house was sold after a year. I bought this because the brand wouldn't turn on. It functions admirably. I scrub out and wash the inside of the brushes when I replace them, which could explain why the off-coloring occurs. The brand was a flop. It's no problem for me to put water in my Sonicare. There isn't much of a difference between the 1100 and other styles that I can tell. Costco is where I usually get them, but they only have one style (not this one). ) This one is newer and requires different brushes than the other four I have at home.
