There is no comparison between this tongue cleaner and those found at most grocery stores I bought tongue cleaners that are too soft and rounded to do the job properly. I like the scrubber and how easy it is The only thing that would make it even better is if it was just a little bit sharper and narrower.
The above are complete and utter garbage. When you scratch your tongue, the part you use to scrape it is not rounded enough so that it does not hurt your tongue. The sight of your tongue scraping hurts even if you do not put any pressure on it. In a sense, I would say that it is sharp, but I think it is rounded up so that it doesn't irritate the also others out there, so perhaps you should check them out. This is a hard pass for me. I didn't feel the money was worth it. The one I had was thrown.
This product appears to be pretty durable and does what it is supposed to do. Before this one, my wife used a different brand (which looked similar to this one), which lasted more than a year before breaking (it may have been two years). Hopefully it will last a lot longer than the previous one, as it appears to have a little thicker, heavier material. There is definitely a reduction in breath odor with it! In conclusion, we are very happy with this purchase, and would most definitely purchase it again, if it lasts that long.
You should check it out. The tongue scraper is the first one I've ever owned and I still can't believe it took me so long to do this now that I see how much gross stuff still comes off even after brushing my tongue.
You will feel great in the morning if you use it every night. In the past few weeks, I've bought another brand and am returning to this one right now. There are several scrapers that are either too narrow or too flimsy, whether metal or plastic. I like the fact that it is wide and durable. This is a very easy game for kids to play. You must do this as part of your oral hygiene regimen.
As other reviewers stated, (for me), it is a shade too wide and a shade too thin. But even so, I will continue to use it until I can find a slightly thicker, slightly narrower brand of cleaner. The scraping they do leaves them clean and refreshed, and they are sharp enough to do the job they are supposed to do.
This was one of my favorite items in the store, but I couldn't find it any more. All of the flimsy ones they sell now are not as effective as these ones. Having found them again was a great feeling! A few extras were purchased!.
