Questions & Answers
Where is the 10x magnification in this product? I purchased this product. ?
The main factor is one. The five, plus the flip, plus the main, plus the swing, add up to eight. Although it's technically not accurate (because the lenses are not touching), it's close enough. ** Main + Flipback + Swing down = 10
Do you have to take your glasses off to wear it?
My readers are on when I am doing detailed work but I look over top of them when it is too dark. Upon realizing there are two different magnification levels for the headset, I was amazed. For the most part, the one lowest setting is about as strong as my readers, whereas I use the one higher setting to work on detail close ups. Those wanting to take some really close-up pictures can also flip down the zoom lens.
What is the origin of these products?
It's been in my possession for 35 years at least. I have a MADE IN USA sticker on my machine. They must have moved to China a long time ago.
Are these going to last a long time- Have you ever read a book at home like a novel? Is it possible to wear your glasses and your headphones at the same time?
When I read books with my prescription glasses off, I remove them completely. It is much easier to read with them than with While the glasses are not really strong, they are too robust to be worn at the same time with the sunglasses. It is pretty easy to see how a novel is laid out. I used to have those. With these ones, I have not been able to figure out how to change the power. There is nothing simple about me. On the old ones there is a five on the corner whereas on the new ones there is a two and a half which is to say that they are the same.

This is a cheap product that works well
Do you think it is as good as what I used years ago at Hughes? The answer is no. Although, it is a lot cheaper with glass magnifier lenses and it works very well. There are some tools that are good enough for most situations. In addition to the real deal, I would buy this if I used it all day for high precision work, but I'm building plastic and wooden model ships for which I need an assist during assembly of the smart components and for There's no better tool for the job. Whenever I restore vintage audio gear, I use it for inspection of printed circuit boards and parts. In the case of a small project where I just needed short term assistance for the close-up, I would find the following providers That's a great vision, up and out.

There is trash in here
I am not sure if I have ever had the nerve to purchase such a poorly made item. There are a lot of flimsy parts and they don't fit together well. I can flip the light around when I move my head, for example. I have no doubt that the headset would break if it were dropped once. There is also a pathetically low level of light. Even if you let the fact that it is dirt cheap make you ignore how bad this product is, do NOT use it for soldering unless you enjoy burning your nose or setting your hair on fire. It is not Although it was so cheap, it would have been a hassle to mail it back, if it weren't so cheap. This item will end up in the trash.

I found it very interesting
The magnifier in this picture is not illuminated. I don't see this as a drawback. This has happened to me a few times and they've all been extremely uncomfortable. A terry cloth headband and this help keep my hair in place I can wear glasses as well & I've experienced little discomfort while wearing them. I have vision problems, so I'm on them for over an hour at a time. You can wear these over them depending on the size of your frames. You get 4 lenses with it, as well as An extra set of My second one has just been ordered so I have These are definitely a godsend if you suffer from sinus pain like I do, since nothing touches your face and can add pressure to your headache. The ones I found are really great. I know there are cheaper ones out there, but I'm The price is definitely worth it.

SMD soldering is possible with this tool
Since I have a rollaway Husky tool box that doubles as a tinkering workbench, I have limited space to work with. I have used a microscope to solder SMD components in past work experiences, but I just don't have the space or justification to buy a microscope to build the occasional SMD soldering kit I put together for hobby use. In the past, I have gotten by with only a ten times magnifying eye loupe, but when I solder I prefer to wear safety glasses. This is one of the things my parents got me for Christmas and although it isn't as convenient as a microscope, it really suits my needs. With the extra lens flipped lower, I can see what I am doing when I solder SMD components. I shave my head) and I use an extra lens that covers my eye when I solder. In addition to the light, there is a nice touch to the product. The light on this visor is useful when I work under cover when I hunker down to solder, even though I have an excellent lighting system over me. complaint about the visor is that it sticks out from your head quite a bit. My soldering iron and solder line sometimes force me to hold them in unconventional ways because if I don't hold them in an unconventional way, I'll hit the visor with my iron. Although it can be a bit knackery, because the actual soldering process only takes a few seconds, so even if I solder several parts at once, the awkward positioning are never enough to cause fatigue. In general, this should be sufficient for any task where you need to use a microscope, unless you have exceptionally poor eyesight (my nickname implies that I only have vision in one eye, and that eye does not have great vision).

The review is second hand, which is why you shouldn't believe it
With the help of this magnifier, I was able to read. The needlepoint, needle punching, or needlepoint-ing is what my wife does, so she has three other magnifiers on her head. Upon arrival, I asked her to unpack it for me, since she knows how the lights work and I tend to be hamfisted when it comes to opening the battery compartments. I told her to order myself another one as the one I just ordered was significantly better than the three different kinds of headgear I already had. She accepted and tested it on her head, and then told me to order myself another one. While I'm not really sure if it's a good item, as "she who must be obeyed" is off with it, I'm ordering another one for myself and she says to give it five Should this need to be repeated, I will re-evaluate when the second one comes!.

It's a good value, if you need screws, you can replace the push pins
There is virtually no difference between the two expensive ones I have had for decades, except to me the black one appears much older. All of them are interchangeable when it comes to the lens plates. When I bought my old ones, they came with six of them The plates are held in place by 32 machine screws, but if they are too tight, the plates may break. A nut like Nyloc should hold forever without being tight, so I solved the problem of loosening it with that. When the push pins become an issue with this visor, the same screws can be used, and I have tested mine to be certain. It's a good idea to purchase a spare while there are still some available because I have a habit of forgetting where I put mine and they are essential for my old eyes to see intricate work.

The best product on the market
I am a hobbyist who enjoys working on radio controlled model planes and multicopters, particularly Considering the price tag of $12, I didn't expect much, but wow! The set I have is so good, I might order a replacement set when I wear it An A-D type magnifier that's comfortable to wear, has a wide range of magnifications, and a built-in light (that you can remove easily).

You do not need to spend more than 30 dollars on a good set to get the job done
I think they are pretty good considering the price. They aren't the best, but they are good for the price. After I've used them for about a week, I've been very pleased with how well they work. As a result of cheap plastic pieces, I expect breaks. This pair of lenses may not meet your standards because the lenses are not located perfectly at the same distance. As far as I'm concerned, they work. I use them for piercing metals.
