I only needed these little gems three days after returning home from the hospital after hip replacement surgery, relying heavily on my walker. With just the standard walker handles, my palms were in excruciating pain. I placed an order right away, and they arrived the next day. They arrived quickly, which I was grateful for. They fit perfectly over the handles and, when secured with velcro, stay in place and are well padded. I did have to pull the velcro apart and re-attach it twice. I had relied on the walker for 4 weeks following surgery due to some unexpected nerve issues, and they literally saved my hands. These are a must-have if you walk with a walker.

My intended use isn't quite in line with what these were intended for. Which makes me even more pleased with how well these turned out. Our Wheel Chair user has cracked the vinyl on one arm rest because he has used it so much to "get up and out. " As a result, his arm is resting on a rough/jagged surface. Light scratching against tinder skin was a concern for me. We used the two together as if they were a single padded wrap, and it is a bigger tube than we ended up needing, and can slide slightly when he shifts his weight in the Wheel Chair. br>br>Because a Wheel Chair's armrests are so much thicker than a walker's hand holds, we used the two together as if they were a single padded wrap, and it is a bigger tube than we ended up needing, and it but. He was relieved by how soft the arm rest was as soon as he placed his arm on it. And after an arm, the gratitude for taking care of something he hadn't thought of as a problem was overwhelming. br>br>This is one of those amazing products that I didn't even realize I needed until I came across it.

I didn't want to use the walker because the metal handle was causing blisters on my hands. I tried a variety of materials to soften them, but my hands remained red and the blisters hurt until I came across a sample of memory foam that I had received in the mail. I had duct taped the blisters to the handles of my walker, and I was able to use it again. br>br>I no longer use a walker, but I do have a rollator and a stroller cart. I chose this because the hard plastic coverings on the handles hurt my hand when I have to walk for long periods of time; I tried them on and they fit perfectly, with no need for duct tape thanks to the velcro.

These walker handle covers are well-made and simple to put on. The velcro-style closure is secure and won't come undone. The dimensions are ideal for the handles.   Mom adores the cushioned feel of her new handle covers, as well as the way they look.     br>br>The covers spin a little after they've been in use for a while, so if your loved one has trouble gripping, this could be an issue.   Also, for hygiene reasons, we used to wipe her handles with a lysol wipe, but we can't do that with the fabric cover. In some cases, this may be a problem. cases. br>br>Overall, they're well-made and attractive. They are a big hit with Mom.

I usually use a wheelchair, but I enjoy using my walker to walk around my apartment. These walker grips are very attractive, and the padding is a nice touch. It greatly improves the comfort of my hands. I have to exert a lot of pressure on the grips to stay upright, so having more padding is a huge plus. My caregiver was taken aback when she saw my blue floral walker grips and thought they were a brilliant idea. br>br>It gives that drab grey walker a new lease on life. It's fantastic.

This material has a pleasant feel to it. Unfortunately, this does not fit on my walker; however, I believe it would work best if you were using it on a walker that did not already have a handle. These are still in use because I used them in another location. They are simple to put on and to remove.
