There was an error in labeling. It's a set of sticks that includes a wax guard for Widex HAs on one end and a replacement guard on the other. Remove the old wax guard, turn the stick around, and replace it with the new wax guard. It wouldn't be able to handle warts in any way.
Yes, it includes a tool for changing the filter; one side of the tool has the new filter on it, while the other side is used to remove the old filter.
I'm not sure what your package says, but I've had good luck with the larger nanacare wax guards.
They're not going to. The Starkey ones are similar in appearance but are slightly smaller, and the color of the sticks has also been changed. Starkey, who used to be a guard, now rides a yellow stick.

It's a pity that a product that you need for a disability is so costly, like our hearing aid DR. UNTIL we had to move and now the DR, he was amazing and would provide these for free. Because no one does that around here, we had to start ordering for ourselves. This product is excellent and is required for the proper operation of hearing aids. It's just a shame they're so expensive; I wish insurance covered them.
These are something I use on a regular basis. This lot is a disaster. The replacement filter is missing from about a quarter to a third of the sticks. In addition, the filter frequently remains in the bulb, requiring removal with a pin and tweezers.
I save a lot of money ordering them here rather than from my audiologist, and they're the same brand. I use Widex hearing aids. Keep your hearing aids safe by wearing wax guards at all times.
These wax guards do an excellent job, allowing me to make repairs quickly and easily without having to leave the house.
These were exactly what they said they were, and they were a lot less expensive than what my husband was getting from the doctor.
In our house, these filters must be changed about once a week or the hearing aids will not function properly. I had been purchasing them from the audiologist's office, but this ten-pack is less expensive and eliminates the need to visit the audiologist every time we run out.
This product allows me and her aides to keep the "hearing hole" in each of mom's hearing aids clean and free of wax and grime; it's simple to use, though it might be too small for a very elderly person to manipulate. Anyone else, on the other hand, will find them to be incredibly simple to use. The idea and design are both very clever.
Works well, is simple, and I'm glad I can buy it on Amazon instead of at the doctor's office because it's a rip-off.
