It probably works well for small buttons on shirts, but it is too small for buttons on pants. No, it doesn't fit blue jeans' metal buttons or any dress pants' button.

The top button works, but not the bottom one

The buttons were used to button the uniform shirts of my son. Besides the top button, this works on all buttons but not the top button, which was why I bought it. Giving up was the best decision I could make. The top button would have given it five stars if it weren't for this.
