At the time this review was written, the price of this pressure pad air mattress was It's only 99, so it's worth it in my opinion. My mother's bed at the hospital was of a much better quality than this one. I was impressed with how durable it was and how heavy the construction was. The other one must have cost much more money than this. This is a good product for home use, however. Unfortunately, there aren't any instructions on how to use it that are very clear, and the instructions on the back of the pump are also the best. Nevertheless, you will not have any trouble figuring it out since you don't need instructions. I like how quiet it is and how well it works. To hang it off the side of the bed, it has two metal hangers on the back. With the air mattress spread out on my bed and pumped up in about 20 minutes, I felt comfortable and relaxed. The pump takes a while to fill it up and you can adjust the firmness level. The kit included patches and a tube of glue or cement in case the tube was punctured. This mattress is made of somewhat thin materials, but it seems strong enough that even if punctured it could still hold up. This is a very nice bubble pad because sore spots can be positioned between the bubbles so that they wouldn't be pressed (or only very little pressure would be pressed Since my hip bones are boney and I am somewhat skinny, I wanted to try out this mattress. The most comfortable position for bed can be challenging at times at night when my hips are in so much pain. For the past few nights, I have been sleeping on this mattress and it's been much more comfortable than I thought it would be. I can place my hip bones in between the bubbles and it feels more supportive. It is unclear how well this mattress will hold up over the long run, but I am going to see how long it can stay in place.
