This is a pair of compression stockings for my husband to wear when he has swelling in his ankles and legs. When we first started, we used 15 to 20-40 during the winter, which worked fine, the only problem was that we live in a hot, humid state. However, the cardboard box was brown rather than brown like the product did. As advertised, I thought they would have a zipper to help them on. I'm not interested! I thought that measuring my short stubby legs would help me find the right fit, but I like that they are open toed, as I can fold them up by pulling the feet upwards.
