I think the filters will be fine for filters, but the air vent won't go far. To allow you to exhale smoothly, the vent is airtight. It pushes the rubber plate out when you exhale, which allows the air to escape. In this case, the rubber plate needs to be repositioned on top of the vent to seal it and prevent air from flowing There is, however, a problem with these vents as they do not lay flat when folded together, so when you inhale, totally unfiltered air enters the mask. As far as I am aware, most of the valves sold on this site are the same. Therefore, if you order any, make sure the vent is fully closed, especially if you are expecting protection in the form of COvid. For your protection, I would recommend using a second mask with filter inserts that don't have these vents as long as you wear it over the other one.

So far it seems to be fitting my KN95 style mask with 2 vents just fine. I can breathe, though wearing any mask for long periods of time can be problematic, particularly in recent years. It's incredibly exhausting to be in Florida at this time of year. It was an orange mask that A few weeks ago, I had to wait weeks to get even the mask that is less restricting and does not obstruct my nose so much.
As a result of COVID, everyone is buying masks and filters, and I was no exception. The initial idea was that mask requirements would disappear soon. I bought a few additional filters and masks at the beginning. In the wake of the mask mandate, I knew we would require additional filters, and I knew the original source no longer had any. They were exactly like the originals, except that the vent holes are slightly smaller. Got these for a good price, and am pleased to find they are identical to the originals. They are not difficult to install into the mask, but it does take a little patience. I was only able to give four stars due to this reason. As soon as the hoses were in place, I felt no problems. Breathing worked smoothly, and by this time I had a good source of replacements.

Extra replacement filters were either difficult or too costly to find, and the mask only came with one replacement filter. The first thing I noticed when I opened this package was WOW! In addition to being a great price, the additional replacement vales came in handy when I realized that one of the valves on the mask had popped off and the silicone blades had fallen off without me knowing it until I was told. That extra set of replaceable cartridges that came with my filter sets was a big help.

The fact that these are not thick is actually appealing to me. I disliked my original mask because the filters were heavy, and I could not breathe. I sweated within the mask as well, and I could not concentrate on my work. With these replacement filters, you won't have to suffer through any discomfort.
