If you're a number 11 on the scale, you're in good shape. We recommend the large VACOped for groups of five to twelve. The large has a range of 11 different options.

Following a cast or splint for Achilles surgery recovery. After learning how to put it on and vacuum the air out of the bladder, it's a very nice, comfortable fit. At 20 miles per hour, walking with this is impossible. Foot angle of 30 degrees. It would take a three-person team to complete the task. To make up for the height difference, add a 4 inch lift to the other shoe. Having said that, taking off is a cinch. No problems, but it takes more than a minute or two to get it on. First, there's the liner, which may or may not necessitate the use of the vacuum pump. THEN putting the lined foot into the boot frame, THEN correctly installing the front cage around the liner, THEN correctly strapping so that the liner valve is not pinched. The boot has finally been placed on your foot. Sheesh. It's difficult if you're not young and flexible, and I have to do it while sitting at the top of the stairwell. br> I would, however, purchase it again. It accomplishes the task at hand. You will save hours of appointments, waiting, and driving. br>br>The most important benefit is that it allows for full range of motion as you begin weight bearing inside the boot thanks to an adjustable arc. You're locked into fixed plantarflexed positions of 30°, 25°, and 20° with traditional heel lifts. You can adjust the upper and lower positions of this boot to your preference. So, once your doctor has cleared you to go to a 5° lift, you can have this boot arc between 30° and 5° range of motion for the next week. This is the difference between walking like a normal person and having a club foot, and your body will thank you. br>br>Other advantages include the ability to swim and bathe while wearing this boot. If you're going vegan, you'll need to plan ahead. If you are cleared for weight bearing in the boot, you can shower on two feet in this boot with the purchase of an extra liner - You'll be overjoyed after a few weeks of showering on one leg. I should have bought this sooner but was hesitant due to the price; however, the adjustability of the boot, the two different soles, the extra liner, and the overall comfort make it well worth the price. The seller also did an excellent job of getting it to me in a timely manner.
Don't hesitate to buy this boot if you can afford it. The product is incredibly well-engineered, and they took every precaution to ensure that it is effective, convenient, and capable of progressing through injury rehabilitation. My only regret is that I didn't purchase it sooner after my achillies ruptured injury.
This boot was the best for me because it allowed me to adjust both the heel wedge angle and the range of motion as my healing progressed. I wish I had purchased a second insert cover so that I could have washed it more easily. (The liner's fabric cover can be machine washed and dried. ).

It is extremely well-designed. I was able to complete my recovery much more quickly than if I had used the traditional cast and boot method. My doctor recommended it to me.
