In short, yes. I put this Tommy Copper Ankle Sleeve on and was happy to see that my orthopod was happy too. The "wonderful" Orthopaedic boot I was wearing for two months had started breaking down. During a recent training session, the ankle on my reconstructed foot was sprained. My only issue with this product is that I've seen a negative review. I am not sure what the issue could be. My life has been saved because of it. is a sleeve, not a brace, so it gives great support. The size of these items is accurate.
The socks go under mine, yes. The location of a sock under a crew type sock is hidden under thick or thin socks. It is possible for me to be mobile and stable.
