Questions & Answers

While removing them, I'm on the verge of crying out in pain! Is there anything we can use to help with the pain while we remove the tape?

What a fantastic query! Also, we're sorry to hear that removing the tape was a challenge for you. Before removing the tape, I'd recommend rubbing it with baby oil, coconut oil, or something similar. This will make it much easier to get rid of it. Please contact our support team at support@kttape if you have any additional questions or concerns. com.

Is this truly effective in the treatment of peroneal tendonitis?

I'm not sure what perineal tendonitis is, but it's been a lifesaver for me when it comes to my feet, particularly in the area of the arch and arthritis. I haven; I haven't gone a single day without applying KT tape to both of my feet! I wrap my feet every third day because the tape can be worn for three days, even in the shower, according to the instructions. I'm all set to place another Amazon order. I picked up a pack at Target the other day.

My anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) was recently torn. When I return to sports, can I use the KT tape with the brace? or do they need to be kept separate? do you prefer one over the other?

You are free to use KT Tape and a brace at the same time, but we recommend speaking with your doctor first. Please contact us at support@kttape if you have any additional questions or concerns. com.

How long do these tapes last when they're not being used? I purchased two boxes, and the tapes from the second box began to peel away from my skin within minutes. ?

I have severe sciatic nerve damage, and KT tape has made a significant difference in my life over the last few years. I've been through what you're going through as well. I've reduced my purchases to four. Because of the lack of adhesion to the skin when not used for long periods of time, 8 rolls at a time are now required.

My plantar fasciitis was relieved by this treatment
5/5

This is what I use to treat my plantar fasciitis, and it really works! It takes a while to figure out how to use it most effectively. I find that if I apply it after a shower and thoroughly wash the area where it will be applied, I can get a 5-star rating. Each application is given seven days. If you apply lotions or oils around the strips, they will come off more quickly. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> After a month of using this product, I realized how important it is to exfoliate thoroughly before applying it. If I exfoliate and wash the area with soap before applying it, it will last for up to 9 days before peeling. In addition, any non- Hairy areas are more likely to last longer than hairless areas.

It does a good job of sticking to itself
5/5

I'm left-handed, and I've torn both my rotator cuff and my bicep on two separate occasions. I purchased the KT tape to provide additional support. With Kerri Walsh as a sponsor, I figured it had to be good, but I wasn't overjoyed. br>br>I struggled with this and ended up wasting 5 of the 20 strips in the process. It's difficult to place it for rotator support on your own, and the tape has a tendency to "slingshot" back when you try to apply it. It adheres well to itself, but it did not adhere well to my skin. I'll use what I have left as best I can because I paid $15 for the roll, but I'm not going to buy this brand again. br>br>** UPDATE 10- 2017 *
br>Immediately after my review was published, KT contacted me and offered me tips and tricks, as you can see from their response. They also offered to replace the roll free of charge. I gladly accepted their offer, and they promptly sent the replacement roll to me, free of charge. br>br>While the tips and tricks were helpful, I'm still having trouble getting this on myself (due to the location of my injury), which is not KT's fault. If you're trying to support a rotator cuff injury, I recommend having someone else apply the tape. The instructions included in the package will also show you how to apply it correctly for that specific injury site. br>br>** Update 2 **
br>If you buy some alcohol prep pads, which are very inexpensive, it will help you out a lot. I've found that wiping down the area with a prep pad and letting it dry before applying the KT tape makes a big difference. The tape appears to go on and adhere to the skin better, as well as being easier to remove when it's time to remove it. br>br>** Update 3 *
br>I've changed my rating to a five-star rating. I'm not sure if KT improved their product's adhesive or if the big difference was due to my learning how to apply it properly. This stuff clings to you no matter what. br>br>Before I apply it, I simply pour some alcohol onto a paper towel and wipe down the affected area thoroughly, then let it dry or wipe it down with another paper towel. There's no need to worry about this stuff coming off, and I recommend doing so in the shower. If you pull it too hard, you'll break it. You're going to pull skin like a band-aid. br>br>Precut strips, in my opinion, are the way to go, and here's a tip: Start by peeling back about an inch of the backing when putting them on. This will allow you to get it started without it flopping back and sticking to itself or your hands, and then slowly remove the backing as you work your way around the area you're applying it to. Once I've started, all I have to do is move the backing tape along my arm and shoulder with my thumb and index finger. It's simple to apply yourself once you've mastered the technique (unless you're doing it on your back). KT Tape has been of great assistance to me. I've reordered three times and plan to do so again in the near future.

My plantar fasciitis is relieved by using this product
5/5

I have plantar fasciitis in one of my feet and have tried many different home remedies. The only product that helps my foot heal, though not completely, is KT Tape Pro. The majority of other products are only intended to provide temporary relief. Although the instructions call for three pieces of tape, I was able to get by with just two. This is beneficial because this product is not inexpensive. br>br>Another disadvantage is that it is not suitable for everyday wear. It should be taken off at the end of the day (I wouldn't wear it all night - it's too hot). (Instead, use a boot). However, after a few days of wearing the tape, I began to develop blisters on my leg. So, a maximum of three This is the fourth day in a row that I've gotten up early.

It Works! If your skin isn't clean, the tape will not adhere to it
5/5

It's fantastic! When I'm wearing it, I notice a reduction in pain. br>br>NOTE: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the place to be Check to see if your skin is CLEAN! If your skin isn't clean and dry, it won't stick! I can attest to this. When I don't take the time to properly clean the application area, it doesn't stick as well as it should and the corners rise! Before applying the product, make sure the area is clean and dry. You'll waste both the tape and the money if you don't! Don't be a slacker; take a few minutes to clean and dry the area thoroughly before applying.
