The joint is made up of the knuckles. It is not, contrary to popular belief, referring to the outside joint. Because it's flat, you measure at the knuckles on the palm side. It's a standard method for determining glove size.
My hand is also a tad under three inches in length. 25 & , at first, I thought the medium gloves were a tad too big; However, I found that they provided adequate support and warmth while I was wearing them. Each morning, my hands (which I wear mostly at night) felt better. I ordered a medium pair from a different brand, which had more compression but cut off my thumb's circulation. My hands and fingers are also quite frail. If you have a fuller hand/fingers, a medium should be fine; otherwise, a small should suffice.

I believe I misjudged the gloves in my review, which is why I'd like to clarify. These are the most effective arthritis gloves on the market! After experimenting with a variety of brands, I can confidently state that this one is a clear winner! It's incredibly soft and comfortable, making it ideal for all-day use. It doesn't get in the way of my typing or paperwork when I wear it to work. br>br>These gloves give me just the right amount of compression in my fingers, so I can finally get some relief when I wear them. I was so ecstatic about this discovery that I made it a point to tell everyone I knew about it, including my family, friends, and acquaintances. I can't believe it took me this long to find these solutions after searching for them for nearly a decade. br>br>I've been dealing with arthritis for nearly 20 years. It started out as minor aches and pains in my fingers and knees, but the symptoms grew in leaps and bounds as time went on. I started having intermittent pain in my joints, ankle, back, fingers, hands, muscles, neck, and wrist, with the pain in my fingers and hands being the worst and having the most impact on my day-to-day life. I was beginning to suffer from a disability. Being so reliant on others at such a young age was terrible. I used to work as a court stenographer in my younger years. Both my mother and I have hand issues. I have osteoarthritis, an old boxer fracture, and pain in my wrists and hands when I crochet, which she diagnosed as osteoarthritis. We decided to keep both for our individual needs because, as far as we can tell, the sizes are the same except for the medium having longer fingers. They aren't tight around the wrist; only the knuckles and fingers are. She's been wearing hers at night with arnica gel, and I've been wearing mine while crocheting with a peppermint/eucalyptus liquid. We both think they are helping, so we'll order more!.
