For a couple of hours, I submerged the hygrometer in shallow room temperature water. Then I put it in a shot glass and put it inside the humidor. Overnight, I wrap a towel around the humidor to keep it dry. The gauge had risen to around 70 degrees by morning. I hope this information is useful.

On the glass, the customization looks fantastic, but there were some flaws in the wood itself. If this item were to be used by me; I wouldn't mind if you gave it to me as a present; I was hesitant to give this as a gift to anyone. I contacted customer service and explained the problem with the product, and they were extremely helpful. When they received my photos, they immediately sent out a replacement. The product is only as good as the company that created it, and they far exceeded my expectations as a customer. Thank you very much!.
The letter/last name was smaller than I had anticipated, and it also appears sloppy. I'm hoping it'll go over well with my husband.
The spelling of the name was off. There's also a chip on the lid. I was not in the mood to return it. It serves its purpose. It's not great, but it's not bad either.

The cuts aren't smooth, and because the finish is only on the outside, the jagged cuts and knicks stand out more against the darker stain. br>br>While the box is well-made, I believe that for the price, a higher-quality finish would be expected. I would suggest getting a more expensive box and having the glass etched by a different company. I'm sure the function will be there; however, because this is a gift for my wedding party, I was hoping for a higher-quality finish.
It's a lovely humidor. Because the hygrometer isn't centered, the numbers are all turned slightly (which irritates me), but my husband said it's fine. Also, the delivery time was exactly as stated.
It was well worth the money. This is a Valentine's Day gift for my husband that I made for him. It arrived in just four days and is absolutely stunning! I really like how personalized it is, and I'm sure he will as well. Thank you so much for doing such an amazing job! I'd buy from this seller again in a heartbeat!.
I like the box, but the monogram could be a little clearer. It would be ideal for this present if it was clean.
