As of 2017, Charmin discontinued its Sensitive TP with lotion product on store shelves. It had been made cheaper by taking away the Aloe and Mineral Oil from Sensitive in 2014, then 'flushing' the product entirely Inputs & outputs As a substitute, G replaced it with substandard Charmin Ultra Clean toilet paper that was made up of paper dust compressed into flakes, but they used the same UPC code anyway. In the early years of this product, Aloe and E were first added to it. Since then I have only used Charmin Sensitive. The most recent time I went to Russia was in fall of 2016. I even carried Charmin Sensitive with me. As described on the new Ultra Gentle package, it claims to be similar to Charmin Sensitive, but it is a lower quality, cheaper competitor with no lotions or mineral oils. Since I was once one of the many Charmin Sensitive users, I switched to Cottonelle GentleCare with Aloe & Discreet--and I am so glad I did! It's a vote of no confidence for Charmin Ultra Gentle from my wallet.
Mega rolls are available at Walmart for $12 per pack of 12. Despite the fact that it's 18mega rolls, the thread pattern isn't even the same.

It's not quite as good as the original, but still quite good. In the past several years, I have used it as my go-to paper. Greatness can't be changed into mediocrity, and we should stop adapting it to our needs.
I love it because it is not as soft and gentle as Charmin's Ultra Soft, yet it doesn't leave white fluff in the bathroom. A surprising aspect of it is that it is also pretty strong. Having the perfect blend of softness and strength is what makes it so appealing to me. Compared to Ultra Soft, it is much softer. Only thing I have found to be a problem is that it's not consistent between boxes.
