Questions & Answers
If you'd like to, you can do that with no problem If you soak 2 gallons of water with 2 tablespoons of Power scour, just make sure you put the sweater in room temperature water, and then push the water all the way down until all the bubbles are gone. Make sure you do not agitate the fibers, and to make sure the solution runs all the way through them. Adding the Fibre Rinse will help reduce static and smell while reducing itch. If still smelling, do one more wash or follow with the Fibre Rinse. It's my pleasure to answer.
That would be the case. There will be a strong chemical smell that will be removed through the washing process. Many carpet cleaning companies now use only Power Scour to clean carpets because it does not leave any residue and lifts any stains or scents. Wishing you a very happy Thanksgiving and I hope this helped.

The scent of mine is the original, very pleasant, not at all cloying or overwhelming, not at all strong. There is a slight floral note to it, and it smells very fresh.

There were two raw Jacob fleeces in feed bags this time, not skirted at all. They were packed just as they came off the sheep, except that they were I felt a little yucky. Due to no access to a heating source, I cut off the worst piece and put it in an outdoor tub filled with water somewhere between lukewarm and hot. My solution consisted of two rounded tablespoons of Unicorn Scour, a little wool, swishing it around, and submerging it. I crossed my fingers, hoped for the best, and expected the worst. IT WORKED GREAT. I was amazed how easily it would remove "gunk," lanolin and dirt even in not very hot water. I gave it a little bit of a rinse and also ran it through a second bath just to make sure the water turned brown very quickly. Only a few drops of color can be seen in I was surprised to find that I could remove almost all of the dirt and wax from a very dirty fleece in just one washing I loved the scent of the wool once it had I do not like the smell of perfume, but I like something that smells clean The smell it had going into the bath was definitely not the same as the smell it had left behind! I love it! Thank you so much for being so very pleased with me!.
I was hesitant to buy a shampoo bottle that looks like it costs 25 dollars. decided to wash this badly skirted fleece the regular way, just like any other normal fleece, before resorting to any fancy methods. Well, despite my valiant effort, the fleece still had lanolin stuck to it and the fiber still felt dry and coarse. I found it rather dingy and disappointing in the end. I bought this product and it arrived earlier than the expected delivery date, which was awesome. During a quick wash last night, I was able to see the fleece releasing the lanolin into the water as I added 4 teaspoons of this product. The lovely fluffy soft fleece I was expecting this morning instead of the rough sticky dull looking wool I had before was what I woke up to this morning! Those four teaspoons did the trick to remove the whole stuffy fleece mess. My experience with the product has led me to be glad I bought it and I will be using it in the future. I have not yet tried the two sample products that were included. They will be used for another fleece that I am waiting to work on. The fact that this product is good for tough stains means we will use it a lot in my household. When I next purchase a bottle, I am going to get a larger one.
Since baby has a sensitivity to PUL, we only use wool covers. I therefore wash wool quite frequently, to avoid permanent stains. A sample of this was included with another purchase, and after using it for the first time, I came here and purchased the whole It's the first thing I use to wash wool each time it's time to wash it. No problems using it for multiple colored interlock woolies in my HE front loader. The woolies came out very clean, dried quickly and stayed In case I need to wash and rinse more often, I soak with a cap full of this for 15 minutes, rinse and assess. Sometimes there is a need to wash one more time, but most of the time, they are good to go. In fact, my bottle of this soap has lasted me longer than bottles of Dr. Bronners Castille soap and Eucalan I've used in the past, so the price difference actually works out to be even more cost effective! Don't hesitate to give it a try!.
Everything will be fine However, there are a lot of SUDS! It takes very little to make this stuff There are very few suds, and this product cleans the most lanolin thick winter fleece I cleaned this season, with easy rinsing, and a nice light scent. Despite its strong cleaning power, I think it is kinder to the fiber as my fibers felt softer and I didn't need to use as high a heat as I normally would. That is definitely going to be my go-to method from now on. The quality is great, the price is worth it, and it lasts a long time.
A very greasy Rambouillet fleece that I found needed to be scoured before it could be washed with a mixture of dishwashing soap (Palmolive Ultra strength degreaser) and There was still a greasy residue and it gleamed in a limp, sticky way. It was then time to scrub with simmering hot water and more dish detergent however, it did not help. In addition, I soaked it in warm water for 20 minutes following the use of this product. You no longer feel the yarn as sticky and greasy and it is no longer dry and harsh. It works just as well as advertised! As a matter of fact, I am sensitive to certain scents and find this fragrance to be fairly strong. It doesn't linger too much after rinsing, but I can still smell the fragrance.
Wool scouring with this product is the only way I will ever This scent serves mostly to neutralize the smell of wool, and it is very mild. It is possible that you would smell some sheep odor if you used the unscented. A pleasing aroma, although I wouldn't say that it smells like lavender. In my opinion, the smell just reminds me of soap. This is a very efficient and economical method.
Even if the lanolin is dirty, it still cleans it. Raw fleeces are best friends with this. Although the water doesn't have to be boiling hot to clean lanolin, it leaves the lanolin shiny.
