To begin with, I originally got this to drown out the sound of fireworks as my dog was terrified of them. It was placed in our bedroom after a while and I and my husband wake up with it every morning.
While the light colors are a little too bright to sleep with, blue and purple are perfect. Along with those colors, we often use other colors when watching television. Several shades are more vibrant than others, depending on how bright you set it up. The sound quality is excellent and there are so many options available to you. Volume can be adjusted so that it can be loud enough to drown out outside noise to calm a dog or soft enough to comfort a pet while they.
