I adore this machine because it allows me to set the nightlight to a very low level, just the way I like it. White noise comes in a wide range of sound levels, from very low (which I prefer) to extremely high. While I'm working or cooking, I like to keep it on the relaxing nature sounds, and I wish I had a baby to lull to sleep with all the baby options. My only complaint is that it has Bluetooth capability, so you can use it as a music speaker, but you can't control the noise or nightlight features from your phone. We have a simple Marpac noise machine that we love because it can be programmed and controlled via Bluetooth. I wish it was included in this one as well.
By a long shot. This would make a wonderful gift for a restless sleeper in your life, and, as the description suggests, it would also be ideal for a nursery. Two significant advantages are the built-in nightlight and the ability to pair devices. The audio quality is excellent for such a small device, and the sound selection is extensive. It does not include a power adapter (only a USB connection cable), which some may consider a disadvantage. However, we live in the year 2020, so this is to be expected and taken into account when purchasing new technology. Give it a shot; you won't be disappointed.
This was purchased to replace a Bluetooth speaker/noise machine that I had been using to drown out the night's silence with a fan/AC type sound. Because I have narcolepsy, I take sleep very seriously, and it's critical for me to develop healthy habits that will allow me to maintain consistent sleep and wake times. I love the sound options, which include a variety of fan noises, white/brown/pink noise options, lullabies, and nature sounds, including various rain and thunderstorm options. I've been using the same sound every single night and when I take naps, and it helps to set the mood and establish that it's time to sleep; the fan noises are in order according to changes in pitch, so it's easy to flip through until you find one that you like; I've been using the same sound every single night and when I take naps, and it helps to set the mood and establish that it's time to sleep. It does require plugging in, which would be a disadvantage if I were going camping or wanted to use the speaker feature. I've used it as a speaker a few times while cleaning the house, and it's simple to connect to my phone for music listening. However, for those who are more concerned with volume and sound quality, this may not be the product for you because the highest volume is not loud enough to project to a large crowd or enjoy music while having a party, and the sound quality is not the best. That being said, I use this for the fan noise and occasionally for the adjustable nightlight that gives a nice warm glow so you can see around the room without being obtrusive and bright enough to disturb your sleep even when plugged in. Overall, if you're looking for a low-cost sound machine with a wide variety of sound options, this is a great choice. If you want to use a Bluetooth speaker, you should look for something else.
It's something both my partner and I have noticed, and it's worse than having nothing. It's too bad because I liked the small profile, loud volume, and soft dim white nightlight, and my partner liked the Yoga sounds as well. I'm not sure what's causing these audible blips, but they'll drive you insane. The subconscious picks up on the randomness that's introduced within the loop. Something you don't want in a machine that's supposed to produce a soothing, consistent sound.
This is the best Yogasleep sound machine I've ever had! It has 30 sound settings, three timer settings, an adjustable night light, and it can also be used as a speaker (the sound quality was surprisingly good). It's small enough to fit on a nightstand without being too noticeable. br>br>Excellent buy!.
I like how it doesn't take up a lot of room and has a simple appearance. It's nice that some of the buttons have texture to help you operate them in the dark. The volume, on the other hand, is excessively jarring- I wish the transitions between levels were more gradual and faded in/out. There are also a plethora of seemingly random and ineffective sound options. Although there is a Bluetooth option, there are no instructions on why or how to use it. It includes a cable but not a wall adapter. . . because who doesn't have one for their phone? I despise being cheap as an excuse. An adapter can only charge one device at a time, and a sound machine will be running all night. . . when most people are also charging their phones!.
I would not recommend this product. There aren't a lot of good white noise options. I like to fall asleep listening to thunderstorms, and there's only one way to do it. And it isn't very good. Also, do not use this as a Bluetooth speaker to listen to music. When I tried to play music on it, the sound was severely distorted.
It was incredibly simple to get everything up and running. It was easy to pair the Bluetooth devices. My machine allows me to listen to music, podcasts, and audio books. amazing! There are a plethora of excellent options available as well. They've been divided into three groups: Lullabies, nature, and noise Don't be fooled by the lullabies; there are some fantastic adult melodies included. The sounds of white noise and surf are two of my favorites. You can either program it to run for a certain amount of time or just leave it alone. When I wake up in the middle of the night, the soft glow of the night light and the soothing sound help me fall back asleep. I'm so taken with it that I'm going to bring it with me on my next trip!.
