Because the sounds have a discernible pattern, you'll soon be listening for it rather than the sound fading into the background and masking outside noises. br>br>Better white noise recordings of 10-second duration. YouTube has over 12 hours of video - Rain, waterfalls, tropical storms, and twilight nature sounds are just a few of the sounds you'll hear. There are far too many to mention. I would have returned this if I hadn't discarded the packaging. br>br>It has a nice appearance and a good volume range, but it does not fulfill the purpose for which we purchased it.

In a dark room, the tiny power indicator light can be quite bright, but it has no other lights. It's small and portable, making it ideal for a diaper bag. I prefer the option of using a battery or a plug. If you don't read the directions for this model, you might think it doesn't work because you have to hold the power button for several seconds to turn it on or off. There are two of these in my possession. For the sitter/travel, one remains in her room and the other in the diaper bag.

Given that there is more noise in the house with people, I turn it up a notch for her nap. br>The first volume is dedicated to the night. It makes a variety of noises, but the waves and rain are our favorites. br>I've had mine for over a year and it's a fantastic product. I bought this for my cousin because she was having trouble sleeping, and I suggested she try it. It appeals to her as well.

There are many options to choose from, but I particularly enjoy the ocean sounds. It reminds me of a favorite seaside resort, and the rain adds to the atmosphere. This is something I can strongly recommend.

For the money, it's a great deal. For a little boy who was a light sleeper, a professional sleep trainer recommended this sound machine. It's been over 18 months since we bought it, and it's still as good as new. We like how small and portable it is (battery or plug in), making it convenient to take on trips.

We had the same issue with our previous one. That lasted for a couple of years, at the very least. The sounds have only been on for a month and are already shorting out and not working properly. While I can understand a component failing after a few years, less than a month is unacceptable. We don't have the original packaging, so we're not sure if we'll be able to return it. Daughter is extremely dissatisfied.

I wish the cord was thicker and of higher quality because the previous one began to short out after almost three years of use, but he enjoys all of the sounds and turns it on and off himself (he's three).
