The side of the adapter reads "ASTI AC Adapter" with the model number XHY050050UCC, and the LectroFans came in black or white with a matching black or white power adapter. The serial numbers on the LectroFan machines range from 3 551615 528640 to 3 551615 618639, or from 3 551636 000010 to 3 551636 285179. The serial number is printed on the machine's bottom label, and the word "LectroFan" is printed on the front. There are ten fan sounds and ten white noise sounds on the LectroFan Sound Machine.

Our family spends ten months of the year in West Africa and two months each summer in the United States, so the option of using global power was a no-brainer. The product came with three different types of electrical plugs, which were ideal for our requirements. We also have frequent power outages in Africa, so we were thrilled to discover a noise machine that could be powered by a battery pack if necessary. The product is small and has a variety of noise options. Unfortunately, this little machine has its own mind and keeps turning on by itself! We bought two noise machines at the same time, and one of them will not turn off - When you press the power button, it basically turns itself back on. The other machine will turn on and off once or twice a day, but will be off the majority of the time because we have small children. It's a pain to unplug and re-plug it because it's plugged in. Every day, plug it in. It's either that or spend the entire day listening to white noise. We won't be in the US for long enough to replace it, so we'll have to make do with what we have. We didn't anticipate this problem given the high cost of these noise machines.

Other sound machines have a thinner sound and don't fill the room as well as this one does. It has a small fan, so it's a good choice. However, the most serious issue is that it is a fan. I've had a lot of experience with MOVING parts that have started to rattle over time. My husband would even attempt to disassemble it (carefully) in order to dust and oil the blades so that it would run more smoothly. It will, but only for a short time. br>I'd been eyeing the LectroFan for a while, drawn in by the rave reviews. Well. They're not telling the truth! I am now a lifelong customer!! This tiny sound machine is the one you've been looking for. I'm a snob when it comes to food. You will not be dissatisfied with this machine if you buy it. I'm just irritated that I waited so long to place an order. The crème de la crème.
