As for the cover, it cannot be used in any way. It is not what the description says it is, but designer washable cloth cover. There is nothing more to it than terry cloth at a very low cost. Neither my nor mine had a design on them. As a result of the initial washing (in cold water), it shrunk so much that it does not even come close to fitting. As I search for a hot water bottle with a cover that is the proper size for a small infant, I will keep looking for a hot water bottle that is large enough.

All babies love to be warm so this product is excellent for a fussy baby who enjoys her mother's body the most. It is just the right temperature with the cover on for the baby. Despite its very good quality and my satisfied feelings, I am very willing to recommend.
