The reviews with this and some of the other similar specialized heating pads were mixed, so I was skeptical. However, I bought this to take advantage of a special sale and it works wonderfully. The women have indicated that it didn't seem to fit well and they weren't happy with it for that reason. Despite having a 17 1/2 inch neck, the garment fits perfectly. A soft metal bar runs horizontally in the neck part. This bar can be bent to make the mask fit snugly, much like the nose pincher found on paper dust masks. It can get quite hot when I use it. Sometimes I use it at 4 for a few minutes, then drop it down to 2 or 1 and it feels very comfortable and helps provide some relief for the chronic neck condition I have. Other times I have just started it at 2 and left it there. Besides the high quality construction, the pad is filled with weights on the edges as well, which help the pad conform to the shape of I love the soft, plush cover and it fits so well and is comfortable, even though it weighs more than a few pounds when you first pick it up, but once it's on you don't even notice it. Rather than having up and down switches like most heating pads, this is a suggestion rather than a complaint as the controller only moves forward, which means you have to start at the beginning and cycle through all four positions before it comes back around. Getting from 4 to 3 requires cycling the 1, 2, 3, and then 4 again. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this product! It doesn't get hot enough to soothe sore muscles or even feel nearly as comfortable. In spite of the fact that I really hoped it would help with my neck pain, it turned out to be an expensive If it's still returnable, I hope to do so.

There is a slight squish in the material, but it's still good and it can be worn on for a long time. It's comfy around the neck, and it grips well. The purchase overall was a good one!.

It made me so sad that I could not love it. This pad is extremely comfortable and it has perfect settings for regulating heat. However, it failed after only five minutes of use the first time I used it. As soon as the red high light started flashing, the whole unit ceased heating and became unresponsive. A Sunbeam representative advised me that using this product with an extension cord caused a permanent fault.

This product does not come with a long cord. Not being able to use an extension cord is a significant problem. I find it to be the end of the line. The couch has to be within reach of the unit. I don't want to be sitting on the floor adjacent to the outlet just to use a It's been a very disappointing week for me.

The rice/bean filled neck wraps that you warm in the microwave worked well for me. I have also tried the flat heating pads. Using rice wrapped in heatinfb pads isn't a good idea since they tend to burn easily and don't cover enough while flat heatinfb pads lack contour. I am not feeling well in this neck and shoulder area As the heating pad contours from the base of your skull to the tops of your shoulders, the tension in the muscles that cause tension headaches is eased. It's time for an end to those heavy rice wraps that I keep burning my skin by putting in the microwave! I like how plush the cover is of the contoured neck wrap! It was so popular that we had to order more! The experience is totally worth it if you have any kind of muscle/shoulder/headache troubles!.

There is barely any heat to be felt. The fact that I am a female makes me feel proud of this. Even on high, the weight is not enough to keep it anchored down enough for me to feel the heat. It then becomes useless to use any other heat seating. There is barely any heat to be felt. The whole feeling of the hot air is apparent if I pull down on the font.
