It is comfortable and luxurious, with long-lasting materials The benefits of heat therapy last for a long time
It's a delight to have you! Since I've been a heavy user of heating pads for almost a decade now, I've had a number of them that have died or failed to meet my needs for various reasons. The pad helps relieve my bad back (and now sometimes my hips or knees too), I blame it on my ridiculously cold feet (because my feet are usually the ones who are cold - even though that's not true) It is unbearably cold out there In the end, the pad is the most efficient solution). Since then, I've been checking out a bunch of them, and so far nothing seems convincing I have owned and used the device for a month now. The one you have here is very appealing to me. In order to understand why, consider these factors The following. The dimensions of this one are This is the smaller of the two, but it has other desirable features, and it's good enough for me. Whenever I need cramp relief, it takes care of nearly my entire back, or it can wrap a good bit around my side, shoulder, tummy, and back to relieve the pain. The tent is also large enough to create a snug place for my cold feet. 1. 2. There is a soft cover on this book! There are two sides to this blanket, both extremely soft to the touch. I like that the fuzzy green side gives off less heat and the thinner tan side produces most. Whenever I have ice cubes on my feet, I put them under the tan side and they warm up. It keeps my feet warm so I don't get too hot on my feet but I am not too cold either. I feel the same way about pain and my back (or whatever it may be). Further description of the fabric is that the top is just like a soft terry microfiber, and the bottom is just like a typical blue heating pad cover. 3*1. *2. *3. This pad has a cover that is integrated into it. This sort of experience has happened to me a few times already. While they aren't always available to purchase, I have come to choose them exclusively because of how vastly superior they are. It is not possible for the integrated cover to move. In use, the integrated cover of the pad doesn't slip off and ruin the shape as the cover is pulled tight to the edge of the pad to keep it in place when the cover slips off the other side. This prevents the hot plastic from being exposed to the skin and burns it. Because I sometimes sleep with a pad (I know it's supposed to be bad, but tell that to my cramps or slipped disc! is especially important for my comfort. This may mean that washing is more of a hassle, and that I could lose the pad sooner, but for me the softness and worry-free nature of this system is worth the inconvenience. A pad cover integrated into the integrated pad is far more useful than a separate pad cover A pad may need to be replaced sooner due to wear and tear caused by machine washing. 4 - . Heating this guy up is FAST and there are multiple options for heating him up. There are 6 heat settings on this and it can be set on a two hour timer or on no time limit heating. That latter option is something I haven't seen in a pad before, and I like it because it lets me put the pad on "1" and set it at the end of my bed to keep my toes warm at In a similar vein, I could also place myself on "1" and set up in the middle of my back. The
5 The plug is plugged in at the head of my queen bed, and then it flops out from underneath the bed so that it sets across my feet at the end of the bed. There is also quite a bit of loose cord under the bed. Cords are long enough to allow this pad to be used pretty much anywhere in a typical room without a hassle. Those are some cons, but are there other things you should 1 . *br1. A hefty price tag goes along with this My payment for this was $25. A snap will hold the flimsy blue cover and the cruddy pads together for $ 30 at Wal-mart I know it's not cheap but $36 for this awesome pad doesn't seem so bad. 1. 2. You may not be pleased with the pad's searing heat if you put it on an unlimited timer, as the pad seems to waver and not stay hot for an extended period of time. However, there may be a remedy in turning it on for two hours and turning it off My experience with this has not been any problem whatsoever, but I thought it would be worth mentioning. 3*1. *2. *3. There is a possibility that this pad will become less durable due to its washability (in machine) and the no-limit timer. It will take some time to see, but I haven't had any pads last more than a couple years of regular use. Overall I'd say this is one of the better pads you can get for the price with an integrated cover, good size, and long cord. Since "cheap" pads have the same functionality, if you use your pad regularly, I'd recommend this I have included some photos to illustrate the general size and the quality of the fabric upon close examination. (I hope Amazon posts them, because lately photo adds have been hit or miss. (Updated on March 25, 2016) Since my review did not post when I initially wrote it, I am trying to add the photos again. The rest of the time, I will probably check in in a year or so just to see if she is still going. We hope you find this review to be helpful, and that your heating pad proves to be comfortable. You are in my best wishes! The following changes were made as of January 1, 2017 Since I've been using this pad for about a year, I just wanted to say that it still works great! I have never had a pad that is better than this one Best of the best. I find it to be really soft and cozy. It also heats very slowly. The "always on" feature is one of my favorite attractions, as sometimes I use it as an electric blanket at night to keep my core or my feet warm. If I am ill or have an injury, I would like to have the heat on for a longer period of time. I would not have to reach Aside from that, I have washed it numerous The fabric is easy to wash. Using the dryer is also my favorite way to dry it Despite the manual stating High output, I keep my unit on low because it stays nice, and the fuzzy cover is nice for an often used device. It heats evenly, and the cover is good looking for a portable device. Washing the pad after it has been used. In the future I hope this product will last a long time, and if it goes the way of all the other pads in the world - I'll be really happy. As long as I'm lucky, I'll get another one As a matter of fact. The pad is so comfortable, and I have had a lot of pads, so I might purchase one just to have on hand for just in case. I like it a lot, and I have had a lot It is my hope that this will help, and I hope that you will also benefit from using the pad! We wish you a prosperous and healthy new year. I have updated the information as of Tuesday, April 4, 2017 Another person commented on my review that the burgundy pad was on sale for about $10 off the normal price, and since I use this pad a lot and prefer it over other pads that I have used in the past, I thought I'd check it out. In need of a spare, I grabbed it. We gave the new pad a try when someone in the family needed a pad, and they liked it just as much as I do, as it is just as comfortable and functional as the original pad. Also, it has fast, hot heat and stays on for up to two hours. There are numerous off options and the fabric cover is soft and washable. The other one has lasted as long as this one, but I will offer an update if this It is great to have the second one at such a good price, but again, these are worth it at the normal prices of $35-$40 The pads are priced in the $40 range in comparison to the other pads you will find in the store for $20-$35 The following are updates as of November 28, 2017 I have not updated in a while, but since it is finally getting cold - I won't delay any longer The long, hot summer and the early/mid autumn has left us with no place to go Since then, instead of just using the pads for pain, I have been using them to warm my feet and core again. There is nothing wrong with them - they're in perfect condition. Despite my older age, I still enjoy spending time with her I love the green one that I got about 2 years ago and use it all the time. I like the flavor of this toast as well as the way it looks and feels. A good wash will yield good results. We don't want cold or hot zones, both of which are undesirable. A smell does not exist. A cover slippage is not present. There are just too many good things about it all, and I really hope they never stop making them because I imagine that eventually they will go bad at some point As long as it does not happen for a long time, I will cross my fingers! Wishing you a very happy holiday season, and I hope yours treat you as well as mine have. Since I have had these two pads for what feels like ages, they must be old! I still have no problems with it. When I write this update, I am sitting at the foot of my bed looking at the original green one. The washing has gone well, and they are still at full Investment of the highest quality. I enjoy them so much! I have some update to share! Update It's been a while since I used them both, but I still have them both. The blue one has been going through the wash for a while, but I use the green one lately to put under where my pet lizards like to Over the past year, I have left it on continuously at full heat for hours at a time. I still think it works great. As I look at all these posts on melted heating pads, I become concerned. It was green when I got it before, and red when I got it. Both of them are constantly in use and have been repeatedly washed. Despite all the scares below my review, I am sure some items have manufacturer's defects. While I'm sure some items have these defects, this should be a fairly safe purchase if you use it carefully. Taking precautions is the only thing you need to do You should never leave an unattended heating appliance on. There's no way to do it safely. Keep it away from the smash. Make sure it's in good shape by checking it regularly for frays, exposed wires, heat on the controller, etc. If you suspect it's out of shape, discontinue use for safety reasons. It goes without saying, but it is necessary to point that out. In spite of my recommendation of this heating pad, I still think it is quite good. In spite of the fact that I still have my original two, I have endless non-functional ones Several years later, I may grab another one this winter after stopping hours of use. Heating pads don't get any better than this, as they keep things warm for so long For as long as they have lasted for me, I will be crushed if/when the company discontinues this model or "upgrades but makes things Thanks so much for letting me know. I hope this helps and that you find comfort with this heating pad. We wish you a happy holiday season! I am still using the two first pads almost daily as of 09/16/2020. Two more of the same were bought as a reserve, and one was given to my mother, who is also in love with it. I use these heating pads all the time and everyone in the family approves of them. We have used them constantly and washed them frequently, and all of them are still functioning perfectly. It's a very good model that I hope doesn't change. This is a great idea!.
