Earlier today, I received an order of a heating pad that I placed yesterday. I was very happy with how quickly my order arrived. As soon as I opened the box, there was a very strong smell of rotting fish which gave our whole family a headache. The boy near me almost vomited at the sight of the stench. The stench was unbearable, so I quickly sealed up the box and closed it up again, paying no attention to what was inside. In the middle of the night, I had to open all the windows with the A/C on full blast, and light candles all around. We had to spend more than an hour to remove the smell What if a dead fish made its way into No one is going to tell me anything. The package arrived in a nice box, however when I opened it, it smelled utterly disgusting-like the smell of rotten fish. I had to hand wash it with my mask on since I was afraid it would transfer the smell to all the clothes. In fact, the temperature of the item doesn't stay hot for more than a minute, it heats up in 2 minutes, and and stays warm for about 10 minutes, then it cools down again, it's just warm, As such, I can't recommend the product. If there were ZERO stars on this, I'd give it the same negative rating.

This product is very soft and pleasant to hold, with three different levels of warmth that are accurate and pleasant to use. I purchased this product for my wife. She enjoyed the product and found the three levels of warmth enjoyable. It was the low setting on most of the warming pads she used. Some warming pads have the "low" setting that is excessively hot. In the case of parameds, that is not the case. In order to be comfortable, she kept the temperature on low. Our only wish is to have an option to continue to use the product indefinitely with no auto shutoff. As well as soft, the fabric of the vest is one of the best. A nice feature is the ability to disconnect the cord and extend it. For the price point, she considers this to be a good product. We will be happy with it as long as it keeps working. In the event that the product fails within one year of its release, we will update.

Editor's note I've changed my 1 star account to a 4 star account. Upon seeing my review, the company reached out and sent me a replacement product for free. The replacement product did not smell at all and works just as well. It is working as expected since the replacement heating system was installed. You should consider this product, and if you get a faulty unit, you should contact the manufacturer. It was a good experience with your customer service. Idiom

----------------- The aroma is horrible to begin with. After 10 minutes of being open, the downstairs had become unbearable due to the smell. Washing it according to the instructions and allowing it to dry properly was the right thing to do. Although I doubt it even will work. There is just a flashing light and no response from the button when I plug it in. It's certainly not washing it if I did it exactly as directed. If it washed, it would have been ruined, but I did it that way. There is still a smell present after washing and drying, but it is not as strong as before. To get it out, you would probably have to wash several times. I wouldn't recommend spending any money on it.
