No, but your heel will fit into the ice pack, which you will then wrap around your ankle. I found that it effectively iced both my ankle and heel.
I wouldn't go out in public with the wrap on. This isn't how it's supposed to be used. You're going to ruin the gel. Use while lying down and elevating your head.
Yes, the ice gel is located on the bottom of the wrap and will come into contact with the arch of the foot.
I'm a size 10 and I'm wearing them right now. It's excellent. Your foot would be out at the toes if you were to wear a size 13 shoe. But all I care about is my heel and ankle, which are in excellent condition. If that's what you're looking for, it'd be ideal. I luv it. store in the freezer Use for about 20 minutes every night.

While it lasted, this wrap was fantastic. Following freezing, it provides a long cold session. The ankle and all around the foot are covered in gel. It is simple to lock. After hockey games, I would use it all the time. I'd put it in the freezer to keep it fresh. It has never been used as a source of heat. When I took it out of the freezer one day, it had bloated to twice its original size, the inside gel had broken up into chunks, and the entire sleeve was deformed. It had lost its ability to maintain a cool temperature. It's as if there was an inner lining that had blown out. This unit was handled with extreme caution and was not in danger of breaking or rupturing. It was my go-to method for wrapping my foot in a seated position. I'd then take the wrap out of the freezer and replace it. I didn't think this would last more than a few dozen re-runs. For such an exorbitant price, it freezes.
For Achilles Tendonitis, the design is ineffective. Normally, I am a big fan of this company's products. They have a wonderful cap, eye mask, and shoulder/neck pack. I bought two of these because I have Tendonitis in both ankles, but the design has a seam running right down the back of the ankle that splits the cold filler material. Although one is slightly superior to the other, there is no cold surface for 1- The Achilles tendon is 5 inches above the ground. I end up laying them flat and wrapping them that way instead of wearing them boot style, which is awkward and annoying.

This isn't what I had in mind when I placed my order. This foot/ankle wrap is enormous (I wear a size 10 women's shoe but have a small frame), floppy, and unwieldy. I had hoped for something a little more solid. The entire boot gets cold, not just one part, which is unfortunate because it is not returnable, even if it hasn't been worn; Because so many Amazon products are returnable, I wish I'd known about it before ordering. If you don't like it, be prepared to be stuck with it.
