I knew it had a smell, but I couldn't place it as you described, so I went back and sniffed it again, and it does have a mildewy odor. When you rub it in, the smell goes away fairly quickly, so I believe it's just the alcohol. I hope this information is useful. I'm confident that the Arnica gel will be extremely beneficial; I've been using it on my broken foot and it has significantly reduced the pain.

If you have celiac disease, you should be concerned. Take your time and relax. Gluten refers to a protein family found in cereal grains. There are no cereal grains in this product. It's a flowering plant that's been used to make it. "Gluten-free" is a term used by the Mayo Clinic to describe foods that are free of gluten. Unless you accidentally swallow them, containing skin care and cosmetics is not a problem. " As a result, any skin products containing cereal grains should be avoided. This is extremely beneficial to me because I suffer from severe back pain. I used to use a compounded cream, but Medicare no longer covered it. This was discovered, and it is a fraction of the cost of a compound. It takes a few days for this to sink in and begin to work, but it is effective if you give it a chance. This is something I use in addition to Voltaren. 4 oz. voltaren, 1 oz. arnica Each hip has a dob, as does the tailbone, and the spine above the hips has a dob. Arnica can be used to treat a sprained ankle. I take a narcotic to help with pain, but it only helps to make it bearable. I do this twice a day and can get a few hours of sleep each time; those who suffer from this pain will understand. I sincerely hope that this information will be useful to others, as it has been to me. It aids in my ability to remain devoid of tears. It's not too expensive, and it's worth a shot.
If you're suffering from back pain, this is the product for you. To begin, I'd like to state that I've had back pain for more than 30 years. Although two back fusion surgeries were beneficial, they did not provide long-term relief. I still suffer from excruciatingly painful lower back pain that renders me unable to stand or sit for up to four days at a time. I've tried every pain reliever and injection out there, but only when absolutely necessary because they're addictive. br>I recently heard from a neighbor about Arnica and how well it worked for them. br>After doing some research on arnica products, I discovered that there are a lot of low-cost options that contain very little arnica. br>I came across this product and decided to purchase it. I tucked it away and promptly forgot about it. At the time, I was taking a lot of aspirin. br>About a month ago, I had one of my bad back spasms. I'm lying down on my back with no aspirin. I had some percocet on hand, but as I was looking for it, I came across this arnica product I had stashed away. So I gave it a shot. br>The simplest way to apply it is to dab some on the back of your hand, then rub it in with your hand behind your lower back. Regardless, I applied it to my back and was out of bed in less than 10 minutes. I got up and went for a walk in my yard with only minor discomfort. I was good for the night after submitting a second application around dinner time. This isn't something I require on a daily basis. I had another terrible spasm of bad pain this morning while sitting outside, maybe two to three weeks apart. I wasn't sure I'd be able to get to my arnica in time. I walked hunched over, knees bent, and grabbed this product, which I applied. I WAS WALKING UPRIGHT AND OUT WATCHING THE BIRDS AGAIN IN 5 MINUTES. This occurred just 15 minutes before I started writing this review. br>However, be aware that there are a LOT of "scam" arnica products on the market. BUY THIS PRODUCT ON THE BASIS OF QUALITY. It's well worth the money. br>Rather than spending the next two days in bed with severe back pain, I'm out enjoying myself right now. In addition, I don't take any other painkillers. None. It's incredible! This product was recommended by her phlebotomist for bruising after plasma donations, according to my daughter. I'm prone to bruises, and I recently had one on my calf. I used Arnicare gel and was blown away by how quickly it worked. It also alleviated the rug burn sensation that accompanied my massive bruise. I'll show you a photo of it before and after I treated it. When I was treated for one day, I noticed a significant difference. br>All you need is a small amount and a good rub. It's not sticky at all, and there's no odor or color to it. I'm thinking of getting some to give as gifts because it works so well! lol.
Returns are not accepted. Even after all these years, the brand and the natural remedy are still fantastic - Instead, I purchased Cream. I hate leaving a negative review, but I feel compelled to do so because this product has a "NO RETURN" policy on Amazon; please be aware. And this review only applies to the GEL version of the product - not in any of the other versions br>Let's start with the basics. ARNICA is MAGIC in every sense of the word. 1000% better than other OTC creams that burn or have that icky "smell" - 1000% better than other OTC creams that burn or have that icky "smell" - 1000 bett It's also great for bruises (which I get a lot because I'm constantly bumping into things) - I've only tried one other brand so far, but Arnicare is fantastic.
Now. concerning THIS "Gel" order - I'm not sure what went wrong, but the gel became completely liquid - It was almost melted or liquified in appearance. And I'm currently suffering from a Grade 2 ankle sprain with multiple partially torn ligaments. All of this happened on the OUTSIDE of my ankle and on the top of my foot - ALL OF THESE PLACES ARE EXTREMELY HARD TO REACH - Especially since I fell down some stairs and am having trouble bending to get to my foot because the rest of me isn't feeling well. (Of course, I'm a shambles, but thank God, nothing was broken. ) ) But the Arnicare "gel" kept running off my foot as soon as I squeezed it out of the tube, and I couldn't even get close to spreading it! What? My mother purchased a tube of Arnicare gel (same exact product, but smaller size tube) from a local store the same day I left Urgent Care. It was "normal," and a dab of it stayed put long enough for me to get to it and spread it out. Then I ran out of money (PLEASE DO NOT USE IT FOR RELIGIOUS PURPOSES - it WORKS! ) and it was clear that more was required - As a result, Amazon was a lot less expensive. However, the tube I received from Amazon was too runny and kept falling off before I could use it. I ended up ordering the Cream version from Amazon, and the "thickness" was as expected. And, of course, it works perfectly!
So - "Gel" is out (at least for me), but I'll always buy the Cream version from Amazon - so long as the price remains competitive The Cream version received 5 out of 5 stars from me. br>Seriously, if you've never tried Arnica and are looking for a "natural" remedy for swelling, inflammation, bruising, and other ailments, this is the remedy for you. Simply give it a shot. even if it isn't from this company (which I adore) - You really DO need to be consistent and apply it 2 or 3 times a day until it goes away, even if it's a small tube (of cream, in my opinion) just as a test - Which, as you'll notice, occurs much more quickly. I'm not a doctor, so please don't ask me for medical advice. but I've been using it a lot more lately (especially with this current, dreadful disaster) - I KNOW it makes a huge difference - Even my doctor and ortho are astounded at how quickly the bruise (which covers the entire foot from toes to ankle) is "staging" (changing colors) and how well the inflammation and swelling are subsiding - Arnica was something they had never heard of before. br>Also, in the past, whenever I nicked myself (arm, thigh, whatever - it didn't matter - a little something I saw a bruise start within a few hours (unlike my current calamity) and even put a good-sized bandage on it. sized dab on a gauze pad, taped it down, and the bruise either never fully developed or disappeared over night - Depending on how bad it was, one or two could have been used. You don't have to do it that way if you don't want to. It rubs in nicely and doesn't leave a greasy residue if used as directed - and it is still functional. It's just something I picked up from another patient and have been doing for years. br>Before Arnica, I resembled a punching bag or had been pecked to bits by a woodpecker - I'm bruised even when my 12 pound-plus dog is around. I'm being walked on by a cat. As a result, Arnica has SAVED me from a plethora of questions and comments over the years - I'm also able to wear shorts and sleeveless shirts once more. (Again, no medical advice is being given, and results may vary. ) )br>While I'm giving THIS *Gel* version a one-star rating, (Please accept my apologies - I'm torn because my local store has a fantastic product - Also, the Amazon cream was satisfactory - As a result, the gel issue might have been a one-time occurrence. off? I had a BBL Monday, and a few days later, I used the arnica gel for my massages. A rash with blisters has appeared on my stomach and back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS UNLESS A PATCH TEST HAS BEEN COMPLETED! Although the scent and texture are pleasant, why take the chance of damaging your skin? Sis. Don't put yourself through it! One of my hips is suffering from severe degenerative arthritis. I've tried almost everything on the market, and the results have been mixed. From having no effect to having a moderate amount of assistance. This is the first thing I've discovered that actually works to relieve pain - especially when I wake up in the middle of the night in excruciating pain and am unable to return to sleep. I get significant pain relief about 15 minutes after applying this. I was able to get back to sleep because of this.
