I've been in such a bad mood for the past few weeks. Every fall and spring, I suffer from severe seasonal allergies and the accompanying symptoms. I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to stop there. My sinuses become so clogged that they block my eustachian tubes, resulting in severe dizziness. I can't take the typical dizziness medications because I'm 83. A few days ago, I received the Xlear nasal spray. In each nostril, I sprayed two times with a metered spray. It didn't taste as good as plain saline spray. My nose, sinus cavities, and throat were a little uncomfortable for about 2 or 3 minutes. Mucus poured out of my nose as my ears popped open. br>The pressure behind my eyes has subsided, and my dizziness appears to have subsided as well. I'm able to turn my head without the room spinning around me once more. What a relief it is! It's worth the minor discomfort to be able to walk without fear of being knocked unconscious by a dizzy spell- balance. Where has this product been my entire life?br>And there are no drugs, so there are no drug interactions. YAY!
Flonase dries out your nasal passages and causes nosebleeds! XLear moisturizes your sinuses, cleans the inside of your nose, and prevents the "concrete nostril" problem that so many people suffer from. XLear works without the questionable ingredients found in Flonase...I use it on a daily basis and it helps to relieve my sinus problems.
The wash clears the sinuses while also containing xylitol, which helps to fight bacteria. I use the spray in between sinus washes and when using a wash isn't possible.
This, I believe, is the product's goal.

I've been using Xlear for several years, and my most recent order came with different bottles. They use a fine mist that does not get enough of the chemical where it needs to go. The new bottle does not clear my nasal congestion like the old bottles did after multiple attempts over multiple nights. br>br>If you received the new bottles and don't like them as much as the old ones, please mark this review as "Helpful" so that the sellers can pass along your feedback to the manufacturer.
) Because we all suffer from chronic sinusitis, my entire family has been using Xlear Nasal Spray for years. Over the years, it has saved us from a slew of sinus infections and trips to the doctor. Because we weren't visiting as frequently as we used to, our family doctor inquired as to what we were doing differently. He then proceeded to jot down the product's name so that he could share it with his other patients. br>Unfortunately, something has changed in the most recent formulation, which I am very sorry for. I noticed that sodium chloride has been added to the newer formulation's ingredients. Each use of this new formula causes severe irritability and no longer promotes sinus drainage as effectively as it once did. It also has a slight odor, whereas the other does not. The label, on the other hand, was different. The new, obnoxious version has a 20-year medallion printed on the label, whereas the previous version did not. I've contacted the company in the hopes that they can return to the old formula or at the very least find a few to sell me.
I've tried antibiotics, steroid injections for inflammation, mucus relievers, allergy relief nasal sprays, saline nasal sprays, you name it, I've tried it. I had another sinus infection about three months ago, which I tried to treat myself with everything listed above except the steroids/antibiotics, but it didn't work. I went to the local health store as a last resort before resorting to steroids/antibiotics once more, and the guy there recommended this product. I used it once every three months at first. My sinuses felt better than they had in years after only 4 hours of treatment! I've been using it about three times a day for the past few days, and my sense of smell has returned! I'm a nurse, so I'm around sick people almost every day, and I've been sick a lot this winter! (Yes, I had my flu shot) Despite being in close proximity to many sick people this winter, I have remained healthy. If I start to get a sniffle, I increase my intake of this medication, and it never turns into anything serious. So, if you're suffering from sinus problems, give this stuff a try; it's changed my life.

I was able to take a breath for the second time! br>br>The true test was to try to sleep, because lying down guaranteed that my left nasal passage would swell and that nothing, but nothing, would clear it. br>br>I can't sleep if I can't breathe. So many nights have been spent sitting up and dozing, but now that I'm using Xlear, I'm able to breathe all night. br>br>Aside from breathing, the biggest advantage is that there are no pills to take, and the steroid and decongestant nose sprays that raise blood pressure can be thrown out. br>br>I can't wait to go to bed tonight without having to use any of my sprays, potions, or pills. To get a good night's sleep, I only need my bottle of Xlear.
If you find yourself reaching for Afrin frequently, it's time to change your habits. Due to the rebound effect, this isn't a good thing - If that's the case, Xlear is a godsend. I used to get up in the middle of the night or too early in the morning because of a stuffy nose. Since I began using Xlear, this hasn't happened. It allows me to breathe freely without becoming congested. Saline sprays don't work as well as this. I wish I'd known about this years ago.
There will be no nasal drip any longer! No more clogging of my sinuses! I'm aware that there are numerous 5-star restaurants in the area. Despite the fact that it has already received five stars, I felt compelled to add my two cents - Even if it's just to keep them afloat.
To cut a long story short, a little research turned up Xlear, which was followed by a steam inhaler with essential oils, and after years of suffering, she has not had a problem since, and she has not had a headache since the first treatment. AWESOME PRODUCT!.
I'm so grateful for this product because I have an autoimmune disease that causes me to have constant allergies and sinus issues, and my children suffer from seasonal allergies as well. The over-the-counter allergy medications don't seem to help us at all, but this stuff is amazing! When we use it, I immediately notice a difference. Plus, it's helped me get rid of multiple sinus infections when nothing else worked! This is something I order on a monthly basis.
