As you can see, this head gear is made with a foam which is different from that of the original Puritan Bennett product. The foam internal material rips and separates from the lycra-type material. After using external materials for three weeks, they look like external material. My solution was to buy neoprene and lycra and make my own head gear out of them. As a general rule, this is not recommended unless every three to four weeks you can afford to replace it.
A material was used to make this thing but over time it separated and broke. That's too bad! I liked how well made it is, it has extra velcro strips as well. It is a much better option than the puritan brand that I have used many times!.
The vest is very lightweight and fits great, it only took me a couple of nights to acquire an adaptation.

Please note that the item you received is not what you saw in the picture. As for the nose strap, it is fitted with oval velcro tabs and does not have a stabilization strip on the top. This bed moves a lot during the night, which is very uncomfortable. Can't someone just make one like an OEM because the OEM is the same. Don't limit yourself to the internet.
A little modification will be needed, and there are some things you need to fix with the top part, but it is a good buy for the price.
It is this headgear that I have purchased three times from three different sellers. Almost three weeks have passed since they fell apart all three times. You shouldn't buy it because the stitching fell apart after a few days, and the foam cushioned fell apart too. As I have tried several mask systems and this is the only one that was comfortable for me, I am very frustrated.
We ordered an extra head strap with a nose kit to replace the one we lost. A head strap was all that was received. It's a good product that I can use.
