My 6 year old has stayed dry for the last four nights since we started using it about a week and a half ago! I now make sure the cord is turned 90 degrees to ensure it stays connected to the device. The only issue was that the cord was disconnected a couple times. You seem to do the trick with that. These alarms are not pricey and can be purchased at a reasonable price. We have seen a dramatic change in our lives since we bought this product. The mornings after he turned six, my son was never dry to get out of bed. Trying to limit his water intake and wake him up before we went to bed was like sucking the wind out of him. It was difficult for him to sleep because of his deep sleep. The last thing I wanted was to wake him up with this. At first, he slept through the alarm most nights (even though we were woken up by it in another room), but as the weeks went by, it started waking him up, and then he would have a dry night before waking up to relieve himself.
