It is very easy to use, just add a little bit to clean water in the reservoir and run the machine three times to eliminate the smell. I used this very easy to use product in my countertop ice maker after it developed a nasty stink in the ice. We made 4 batches of ice before flushing the reservoir multiple times with water and draining it. The interior now smells like a hospital, and the ice is great.
