In my experience, there have been several brands that left my ears sore or didn't fit properly. They are lighter than any brand of pillow I have used previously and do not rub on your head or pop out in the middle of the night. OMG are you kidding me my husband is storing these away I have tested them out and they fit nice and soft, and they don't hurt my ears at all. I cannot listen to anything on them, so I'm excited to sleep tonight.
It was the first night when they split up. In the second night, I squeezed them quite a bit further down and put them further into my ear canal. They kept their place snugly inside my ear canal and blocked out the snoring of my husband and the TV in the next room. After it hurt my one ear so badly I had to take it out in the morning. My ears have gotten used to having these in my ears and they now keep them in until they are ready to be removed in the morning. They only took a night or two to adjust to wearing them as far as discomfort goes during the night. The channels in my eardrum are very narrow, so I have to squeeze the earplugs as far into the canal as possible to get them to fit. The extensions also begin to expand the instant I let go so I have to insert them quickly before they expand so much that they don't fit inside the I have to do it a couple of times for it to work, but once I get it in, it works great! Although I did not wake up at my first alarm, I was awake at my second alarm 15 minutes later. When I wake up during the night, I find it very difficult to get back to sleep because I am a light sleeper and have difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep. These plugs have helped me fall asleep faster and stay asleep for longer since I started wearing them.
