Questions & Answers

Do you get a cat with it?

The only Munchkins I know are It is impossible to predict the color of anything. Throughout the year, there are always red and white containers.

It is the first time I have done this. Do you just want to store the needles or the entire syringe in this container? My sincere thanks go out to you! ?

Syringes can be fit in it, but needles will last longer if that is all that can be put in it. I would estimate that it would be 16-19 I hope this helps! It would hold 20 10mL syringes, so it is a nice compact size.

Although this may seem a stupid question, I am completely new to all of this needle business. Can the needle only be kept in the box or can the whole syringe be kept there?

Fill the container with the entire syringe. To prevent needles from becoming disconnected from the body, FDA advises users not to try. You have a high chance of getting a needle stick!

Suppose I have a full container? What do I do?

There is a $10 charge to dispose of a quart container at the disposal point near me, and it is $16 to dispose of The cost, however, is only $15 if you choose to buy the container directly from them. The value of a container is $1 less than a container belonging to someone else and $5 less than two quarts. The Sanitation Department of Southern Oregon Find the county you want by typing "County" Online you can find this on the web sharps disposal. Despite my best efforts, I had to contact the company to clarify the price. Additionally, you may wish to contact your insurance provider There may be some mail from them If I had the option, I would probably consider Expensive until you reach the OOPMax, at which point you're free.

If the top is not full, then do not close it
4/5

For your information If the top is not full, then do not close it. One needle was put in and I closed it, thinking that would keep them from falling out if I turned it Not at all. In other words, it closed.

A high level of The syringes I use are discarded in a safe and ethical manner because I inject myself with testosterone on a weekly basis
5/5

Yes, the lid is hard to open if you accidentally close it, but you can pry it open with a flathead if you accidentally close it. This is how it was designed so that it cannot be easily opened. The needles in it may be carrying pathogens that can cause harm. However, in my area I am legal to dispose of the container in the regular trash once I have securely closed the lid. Along with the testosterone vials, I place my syringes, 22 gauge needles, and 18 gauge needles in it. The trash bag is filled up in about three months. I close it tightly, throw it in the trash, and then get That's all there is to it.

This set of sharps disposable containers has been delivered today
4/5

They are just right in size and at a great price. I love that it is sturdy and compact, just like those big ones you see There is only one size of this box a quart. Before starting to use it, I tried various tests on My findings are as follows Please keep all children out of reach. Adults will not be able to open the lids. Although the lid snaps into place tightly, you can remove it with a lot of strength and effort if you need to open it before you begin to insert needles. As a result, the lid also has a flat sliding closure in the closed position that provides adult proofing. After being unable to reopen it, I had to ask my son to figure it out and open it for me. There are no universal rules, as my experience does not reflect everyone's. I'm not sure what I am or what I am, but I may be a weakling. In light of the fact that we do not have children living in the house, I mocked up the containers' lids. By threading a white pipe cleaner through both openings and twist-tying it to the inside of the lid, I was able to minimize the visual clutter. As I tightened up the pipe cleaner, I just barely closed the flat lid, making sure that it was almost closed but not completely sealed. the sharps container is full and I am ready to cover it with the lid, I will cut the pipe cleaner so it can be closed properly I have experienced that in the past, as I mentioned. The fact that it didn't happen to me does not imply it will happen to you. I'm happy to report that the sharps box is efficient. Ensure that children cannot access it. Keep it out of reach. My strong recommendation is that you should purchase this product.

A Sharps Container for the First Time
5/5

I recently switched from taking oral diabetes medications to weekly injections after taking oral medications for several years. As an employee of a hospital for most of my career, I know how important it is to dispose of needles responsibly. The pharmacy where I normally shop did not have these sharps containers, so I ordered them online. The system appears to be working well so far. I found the box material to be thick and it appears there is a good amount of material inside before it needs to be disposed.

This container is good for small injection pens, but not so much for larger ones
4/5

Having diabetes is something I have to deal with. As part of my treatment, I use Trulicity, an injection medication that comes in a large "pen. " I test my blood sugar multiple times a day. Using this container when testing lancets is a great idea. There are barely enough Trulicity pens to fit inside it, and the container can only fit up to four pens before it becomes too full. Moreover, the pens are taller than the line on the container that shows how much is left in the fill. My experience with insulin injections doesn't have me familiar. Since I don't inject insulin, I'm unsure of how well (or not) this container will hold needles used to inject Likewise, as others have noted, this container is far too easy to put into the "permanently closed" "disposal mode", after which opening it again is at best a challenge.

The lid closes so easily that it is terrible
3/5

This is a complete waste of money, and it is terrible. There is something flimsy about the lid, and it is the most aggravating part The lid can be easily closed by mistake, and once closed it cannot be opened. An excellent safety feature because it is easy to use, but it is quite inconvenient when it goes wrong.

Unless you click the permanent close button, the session is not truly closed
3/5

I got mine a couple of days ago. In the instructions, there are no instructions on what the hole is for or how to break off the needle before dripping the needle and syringe into My needle and syringe were dropped into the container after I bent the needle. After the needle and syringe were dropped in, It's a mess! The lid was flimsy, so I lifted it up and twisted it. I was able to pull it off easily. After slipping it back into place, I tucked it away. It was open again when I tried to close it. It's the same thing that In order to consider an item closed, it must be permanently closed. Due to the fact that I am laying this inside my drawer on its side, there is a problem with this. My idea is to use velcro to attach the magnet to it or glue a magnet to it and stick it to This, however, will be more visible, and I would like to keep my health issues as discreet as possible. The only time I need it is once a week, so I will have to fill it up gradually. Today I came here to watch the video to see if I was doing something incorrectly. However, this is not the case. A temp close with two stops would be better, as would a permanent close with a more solid stop.

It is important not to slide the inner top all the way down until you are ready to discard These containers are perfect for my needs and I like their size and shape
4/5

An insulin pen needle container of one quart will hold quite a few of them since mine is used to dispose of insulin pen needles. It seems however that the sliding inner lid is designed to stay shut once it's snapped shut. It only took me a few days to inadvertently do so after using the app for a while. It was possible to remove the lid, but not easily, so in the future, I will be careful. This is a very good purchase for the price.
