Questions & Answers

Do you think this would be useful for alternate site testing?

As well as alternate site testing, this is great for finger testing as well.

How well does the Care Touch lancing device perform with the OneTouch UltraSoft Would you mind if I thanked ?

This device is not compatible with OneTouch UltraSoft lancets, despite what it says above. Lancets are SQUARE on the bottom of OneTouch UltraSoft. Round is the only form of currency accepted by the device. Make sure that yours is in good condition before purchasing.

The depth level of the device seems to be millimeters. What does it mean?

In either the device or in the instructions, it is not specified whether the measurement is in millimeters. In the instructions, there is a specific number 1 The third is for skinny or soft skin, the fourth is for dense or thick skin. The average person should wear a 6 for their skin tone, a 7 for theirs The thickness or calloused nature of the skin is 10. With this device, I was able to penetrate a bit deeper than I had before. As far as I know, the previous video didn't pierce any skin deeply enough for an adequate

When adjusting the depth, how do you do it?

On the dial, there is a depth dial with a range of 10 inches. There is no complexity to it at all. My only wish would be to be able to adjust the force as well.

This is a simple and functional design

My ketogenic diet began in May 2018 [with great success], and I ended it in mid-September In the summer, I purchased a Keto Mojo blood ketone/glucose meter, which came with a lancing device. I soon noticed it cracked at the lancet holder, and although it still holds lancets in the plastic sleeve for use, it did not appear like it would not get worse, and my attempt to repair the crack with a reattachment failed It cracks. This product worked seamlessly with the EasyTouch lancets I purchased on Amazon.

The ones I purchased with my testing device are far better than the ones that come with it
5/5

I have had it for almost 6 months now. I kept changing my insurance's policy for which test strips it covered, and every new pack came with a less powerful lancing device than the last. Even while purchasing a whole set of an older brand that had been a decent set, I found that the new device had degraded to the standards of the new ones, with the spring so solid that even after a couple of hours, the puncture wound still hurt. Therefore, I decided to take a new approach by simply purchasing a lancing device that was sold on its own merit. With this Care Touch Device I have set my settings between 2 and 3, so I would say there were more than 10 options available. It says it has ten settings, but I have mine between 2 and 3. My skin doesn't hurt much and most times I have to check that it actually did pierce the skin because there is no pain. In addition to not having to grab and pull against a spring, I like the fact that the lancet can be slid out instead of being pulled.

I love it! My fingers have been sore after doing so many finger exercises As a result of my years of using stick, my fingers are as hard as For any blood to come out of my device, I have to turn it up to the highest setting
5/5

It's amazing how great the Care Touch device is! Even though I only have the sticks set at 7, I get plenty of blood! When I first started using it, I thought it wasn't working because I didn't feel a stick, but when I looked, boy, was I surprised! My test kits will be equipped with these devices as I ordered two at first. I'm going to order one more so I can have one for every Caring Touch has been a blessing to me.

I have no problems
5/5

Because the pen I am using is shorter than the one I am using now, I was concerned about it. I like it, but it doesn't fit my case- Yes, cases do exist It's better now. Additionally, it has a concave tip, which I didn't have on my other single pen. I was worried that what I was testing for might be impacted by the concave tip because I usually I use two separate meters and kits 1) blood sugar (which uses only a small amount of blood) and 2) prothrombin time (which uses a larger amount of blood). My concern was that the needles might not fit or work well with the larger gauge. There is nothing to worry about. It was not convenient that I had to keep opening both of my test kits to find which has the lancing device, so I ordered two. Now, I have one lancing device for my blood sugar tests, and one for my prothrombin time In addition, the needles are the right size and work well on the device. The large gauge needles are hard to find, but they are in general pretty standard in terms of location in the lancing device, so compatibility is not an issue. I received a good deal on this purchase, considering the high price some vendors want to charge for these devices, and that this device can handle lances of all shapes.

There is an issue of safety It does not hold lancets properly, causing the needles to protrude
3/5

It is important to note that I encountered a safety issue with TWO of these devices (read this review in full for more information). After buying the first one and using it, I was sold. My lancets are Freestyle, which have a very standard shaft, from what I understand. They are suitable for my lancing devices of all kinds. The lancet was not held or delivered properly by this product. You may not get the needle to return completely when you cock it. is due to the lancet pulling from its holder, and therefore pulling the lancet out will do nothing the needle will just remain in its position, with the tip poking out of the This means that the lancet, in other words, is stuck in the device's head. I found this out when I opened the device to see why its cocking was so difficult. At that point, you are not only unable to use the device when it is not cocking, but you are also unable to remove the lancet very easily because it is not securely attached to the device. My refund was processed and an Amazon replacement was sent to me out of good faith. With the replacement, the exact same thing happened. This is dangerous because it leaves the tiny needle protruding after lancing instead of retracting it. It is much easier to retract it if the lancet is not stuck in the head of the device. This is something that is easy to miss (and you may easily get stuck if you do not see it). As well, I'm going to throw this one out. A total of two out of two is.

You won't have to suffer painful lancing anymore if you use this device! It has been many years since I was using the Bayer lancing device, but I recently tried this one from I'm amazed by how different this alternate lancing device is! My surprise at finding such a variety of settings was incredible
5/5

device has a range of adjustment settings of 1 to 10, so I set it all the way down to number 1 and there was no pain when using the device. Make sure that the lancet is firmly seated when you insert it into the device. It will only go in about a quarter of an The process of removing it is also simple. As long as the setting is the same each time, I am happy to report that this device works exactly as expected over a period of twenty times.

I have never encountered a lancing device like this
5/5

For the last 20+ years I have been testing my blood with lancing devices. This one is the best I have ever used. The device is small enough to be convenient, but can be handled easily and has a great range of settings. Some of my fingers have developed a tough skin, but I can use the 10 setting without a problem while I use the lower settings 1-6. Most of my other fingers have a rating of 5. This device is highly recommended, and my order was handled quickly and accurately by the seller of my order.
