After a 20-year hiatus, I'm getting back into cat ownership. When the inventor of the Kitty Tease had a booth at the Madison Square Garden cat show in the 1980s, I came across it. After giving away the original Kitty Tease many years ago, I tried to purchase a replacement but it was no longer available. Fortunately, the Kitty Kaster, a clone of the original Kitty Tease, was listed on the inventor's website. My new cat finds it endlessly entertaining, which helps to relieve some of the guilt I feel about'rescuing' her from being an abandoned cat with a taste for being feral that she can no longer satisfy.
Execution that is low-cost This is one of the Christmas gifts we received for our four cats. I'm sure, as most cat owners know, cats enjoy simple things like string, ribbons, boxes, bags, and other similar items, so I figured they'd enjoy this toy as well. Despite the fact that cats enjoy simple and enjoyable things, this toy is nothing more than an overpriced strand of string. It came untied after only a few minutes of playing with it. I told my husband that it appeared to be cheap and that it wasn't worth $20 - After shipping, the item will cost $30. He double knotted it back on, and sure enough, the next time we played with it, it came undone after a few shakes. There were no bites from cats either time; it was simply the movement of the stick that caused it to come undone. The simple motion of moving the stick back and forth has always caused it to come undone when we've played with our cats with it. I'm not sure how this seller considers a piece of string with a ribbon tied at the end a revolutionary toy, especially when the string isn't secured properly. That is entirely the fault of the creator; rough play has nothing to do with it. There are plenty of better toys available, or you could do what the seller did and use a string to tie fabric at the end!.
This is a huge hit with my cat. He wanted to play non-stop when the time came. stop. He'd pace and meow every time I put it down. Because he was breathing so heavily, I eventually had to stop. He just stood there staring at it, his gaze fixed on me. br>br>Sometimes I wake up to find it dragged across the bed by him.
Most cat toy manufacturers assume the person playing with them is a child, so they make everything short. As an adult, I prefer stronger rods and longer strings to make it easier to play with multiple cats at once. Even if you only have one cat, you and your cat will love this sturdy toy!.
This toy is a hit with all of my cats. I just wish it didn't get tangled up so easily. It doesn't last long either.
When I took this out of the package, they went crazy. The line has a good reach and the pole is well-made. I deducted one star because the line is already fraying after a few sessions, but it's still a fantastic toy!.
Great replacement for the kitty tease that was misplaced during a move. This is too much for my cats to bear.
Siva enjoys playing with it whenever I take it out of the bag. It's something she really enjoys.
