METAL: . Sterling Silver with 935 Argentium (higher silver content and tarnish resistance than traditional Sterling Silver).

GAUGE/DIAMETER OF WIRE: 18 GAUGE (1.25 INCHES) While most people have no problem with this size, it may not be the best choice for sensitive ears or new piercings. This thickness makes the earring more durable than my usual thin style.

FINISH: A light hammering creates a subtle sheen in the light. Each earring has a hammered texture on one side.

Set the gauge to a large size

These have a fairly large gauge. I couldn't seem to get them into either of my ears. Sad. They're fantastic.

Earring are lovely! I really like how open the design is. They are thin, so if your hair is down, you will see more of a sparkle than an actual earring, but I adore them!.
