Not in my case. And because they aren't my lobe piercing holes, I never take them out. They're perfect for me, and I've only unclasped them once after getting out of the shower because I have towel hair.

When I'm not dressed up, I can wear these earrings as everyday earrings. Mine is on my person at all times. When exercising, this is a good piece to have on. It's also suitable for casual wear. Well-made and accurate to the description. Getting these small earrings in was a little difficult at first, but I eventually got the hang of it.
