This type of jewelry is difficult in general because it's essentially a jump ring that must be carefully lined up after being opened and placed in your ear without overlapping or leaving a gap where hair, clothing, or other objects can get caught. I occasionally make jewelry, so I'm familiar with how it works, but if you're not, I'd suggest having someone else put your earring in for you. These are gold filled, which means they have 100 times more gold than gold plated jewelry and should last for years without flaking or rubbing off. If the gold doesn't last, I'll update my review, but I think these are definitely worth a shot; just be patient. If you frequently change your piercings, this might not be the best earring for you.
These are fantastic! They've gotten a lot of attention from my friends. My second and third piercings are always adorned with them. I've never taken them out, and they haven't changed the color of my ears in any way. They're simple to install and remain in place.
It keeps falling out or getting stuck in the mud.
They've been in my second piercing for months, small and dainty, and they're exactly what I wanted. This is the ideal finishing touch!.
I find it too small and useless.
This pair was reasonably priced, gold-filled, and small enough to wrap around my tragus (see photo with black arrows). br>br>I was looking for a nose ring when I saw these because I need the real deal for my nose piercings, but I was confused about the sizing and when they arrived, I realized they wouldn't fit either of my nose rings. However, they worked out perfectly for the rest of my piercings. br>br>Overall, it's very simple to open slightly, put on, and close again. The two hoops in a plastic bag arrived in a nice monogrammed black box, which had cotton padding inside. Repurchasing for my other piercings would be a no-brainer. I just wish they were available in different sizes (for example, for my nose!). ) but content. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> 9/11/18. So, I went ahead and purchased two more pairs on the spur of the moment. I probably shouldn't have because the ends of all of the hoops are tarnishing and turning black, and putting those ends in the actual hole turns it green. If these are indeed gold, I'm not sure why they're tarnishing. not something else, but it's filled. Except for one, all of the earrings appear to be in good condition, but we'll see how long that holds true for the one I had to remove and discard. I was a little disappointed, but given the low price, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that I didn't get exactly what I expected. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> 2/13/19. The original entry for this was removed when the company/person removed the same item, only for it to reappearance. show up without my approval! I've had to toss out all but one of them since then, and I expect to have to do so again soon. They corrode and turn green, turning your ears green in the process. I wouldn't buy unless you know you'll be able to return them, especially since two of mine turned green within a month of purchase.
I like to wear them on my second and third ear holes because they're so small. It comes highly recommended!.
