I wish the clasping parts were less noticeable. Too broad, thick, and sloppy. The large clunkiness of the clasps kind of overshadows the delicate decorative center, so I'm afraid they'll wear out before the pretty part. Regardless, I continue to enjoy it. This is something I've been looking for for a while. I know, it's old-fashioned. it is difficult to come across I'm older, heavier, and have a lot of health problems. I have a problem with my legs' skin. arms. I mix and match maxi dresses with a variety of jackets, shrugs, kimonos, wraps, and shawls. It was always in need of something to keep it on modestly. Brooches are fine, but clasps are far superior to pins in terms of functionality. I'm overjoyed that I came across these. I'm hoping that my fears of flimsiness are unfounded. I got the butterfly and intend to get the rose as well. I'm hoping for some painted ones, as well as goldtone ones, but silvertone will always be my first choice; the price was a little higher than I thought was reasonable, but given how difficult they are to come by, I'm willing to pay it.
