These are very pretty, and I was looking forward to wearing them, but after a few hours, I pushed my hair back and my finger got caught. After a closer look, I notice that one of the feathers isn't cut out properly, resulting in a razor-sharp point that sliced through my skin. I'm pretty sure the other feather on the same earring is rusting in a few places as well, implying that it was sent to me rusted. I expected each piece to be inspected for quality and safety, especially for the price, but I'm very disappointed in the quality. I thought these could be used on a daily basis, but they appear to be reserved for special occasions, if they last that long.
To begin, let me say that these are absolutely stunning and my favorite pair of ear plugs I've ever owned. I put them on my bathroom counter, however, and they rusted in a matter of hours. I've only had them for a few days, but I'd expect the quality to be better for a price of over $30.
The product is not at all like the one pictured on Amazon. The photo makes it appear to be druzy, but that is not what I received, as I tried to demonstrate in the photos. Also keep in mind that the majority of people have their ears pierced with 18 gauge needles, and the smallest size these earrings come in is 16 gauge, so if your ears are pierced smaller than 16 gauge, it will be difficult to get them in. I'm keeping them and am happy with them, but I would have preferred to receive exactly what was shown in the picture.
I'm completely smitten with these studs. I wore them to my first wedding and received a lot of positive feedback. It's extremely comfortable, not to mention beautiful. I needed some nice dangling plugs, and these fit the bill perfectly!.
This is the second time I've bought something from this seller.
Pros: Beautiful craftsmanship, even better than the photos, and a quick response from the seller when I had questions.
Cons: They're heavy, so I almost recommend going up a size to avoid gapping when the earrings pull down slightly due to the weight. Both my first and second purchases were for people who used to wear larger size gauges but had shrunk to the size 0 I requested. I'm not sure if this made gapping more likely. br>The back of the earring/gauge screws in, and believe me when I say you'll need assistance because it's not easy to do blindly. It can be challenging to align the threads. br>Having said that, I cannot emphasize enough how flawless and lovely these are. They're a fantastic option for formal occasions, and I'll be purchasing them again!.
I rarely spend this much money on a single pair of plugs (I'm a cheapskate), but I'd buy these again in a heartbeat. The price is extremely reasonable, and I consistently receive compliments on them from a variety of people whenever I wear them. The craftsmanship is superb, and the sizing was spot on. I'll be buying more of this artist's work in the future.
The image on the internet appears to be of a stone. It's a small glued-on piece that isn't a stone or even textured. Definitely not worth $36, more akin to something you'd find at a bargain store.
This had a lot of promise. Product was adorable and came in a cute box. Unfortunately, the metal connecting the leaf to the actual leaves is so thin and low quality that I'm afraid they'll break the first time I put them on. In these, I would never attempt anything daring. I didn't get value for my money.
