My initial thought was that it would be similar to a small coyote pup's skull, but it is much larger. Despite being a small piece, it fits in the hand well and has a realistic texture, not bone dry, but moist, as in a movie skull. Definitely great sound, I tried it at home and was afraid someone would call the cops. The wind blew the paper so hard that I had to go to the woods near my house to blow it really hard.
