Another can from this company was given to me as a gift, and I've been very pleased with it. The skull-shaped object I ordered a topped cane to add to my collection, and it arrived a day early, but it was missing its head when I took it out of the box. I had no idea that the cane's head and the collar that goes underneath it were packed separately inside the box in an opaque bag. Manually screwing the head into the cane's base was required. Most people should be able to do this with ease. However, I am unable to use my left arm or hand as a result of the stroke, which makes the assembly process more difficult for me. Because the headpiece was obscured by the packaging, I assumed it had been left out entirely and began the process of returning the cane to Amazon. Cancelling that request is proving to be difficult, and it's not a headache I need right now. I didn't think "hand made" meant "made by me" when I read the product description. Why, in the name of God, would a company sell a product designed specifically for people with physical challenges that requires at-home assembly and fail to make that fact clear in the product description? I'm frustrated and angry, and I won't be doing business with this company again.

They have a wide range of pommel styles and wood colors to choose from. br>br>The craftsmanship is lovely, the cane is sturdy, and it's very comfortable in the hand; the finished product does not appear "cheap," which sets it apart from other novelty pommel canes I've seen. This purchase has made me very happy!.

On the craftsmanship of this cane, I debated between three and four stars for quite some time. However, it is (so far) extremely sturdy, attractive, and comfortable in the hand. I'm worried that the skull will fall off at some point because it's only held together by one long, very thin screw that's driven straight into the wood of both the skull and the shaft. Underneath the metal ring depicted beneath the skull, there is empty space (hollow). I wish they'd sunk some metal inserts into both the skull and the shaft to reduce the chances of the screw stepping. br> Despite this, it's my second-sturdiest cane and my all-around favorite for around the house or outside in nice weather. Despite this flaw, the cane has a very solid feel to it, with a good weight and balance. The skull was a lot bigger than I expected, but that's actually a good thing because it's very comfortable. If it had been smaller, I believe it would have been less so.

It's the same as the pictures in the item's description. The money was well spent. I've had this for about a month and can attest to its high quality; the cane has a nice heft to it. Solid foundation. The head is made of two solid pieces of hardwood laminated together to create a symmetrical wood grain pattern (which you can see in my photos on the back of the skull). When it comes to individually hand-made items, there's always the worry that what you get will be significantly different from the images in the listing. The skull is carved exactly as shown in the item description in this case, however. The simple, realistic skull was one of the factors that influenced my decision to purchase this cane. It isn't overly stylized, which I frequently see on similar products; It is not made to appear "evil" or "angry," nor does it have fangs or anything else silly. It's just a simple, fairly realistic representation of a skull, which makes it formal enough for formal use, but stylish and well-made enough for everyday use. Designed to be used on a daily basis. If necessary, the head can be removed and replaced. Mine came with a spare rubber end cap, black rubber, small enough to maintain the elegant, classy look while still feeling sturdy and gripping well. In my hand, the cane feels great; the curve of the skull is comfortable to hold. Due to a disability, I purchased this for everyday use, and it always receives a lot of positive feedback. I am 100% pleased that I purchased this item.
