In the item description, it says the item needs to be cleaned, assembled, resin coated, sanded, and then painted. A little patience and some mad painting skills will be needed, as well as modeling glue and resin. It would be more appropriate to say that he was under the weather. You have to sand and trim before gluing the pieces together because the pieces don't fit together. There are a lot of small pieces, making it very hard to assemble. It is fragile because it won't fit together well, so knocking it against anything will break it. When it comes to costumes, this is fine if you are merely going to display it, but if you want it for costumes, think twice. There are other products available that have already been assembled, painted, and are.
I love the realistic look, but I wish the instructions had been more clear. It's clear from one of the pictures that something is wrong. Obviously, the trigger guard has been filled in, and I'm not sure if there is a way to take off the excess plastic without damaging the trigger. Despite the fact that the website doesn't mention it, it would be nice to know what to do.
Make sure you read the fine print before purchasing. The way it was made, however, made it a waste.
I really enjoyed it. As I messed up a couple of times without instructions, I would have appreciated them.
This movie prop is pretty accurate as well.
I really like how it turned out.
